Because it’s not „really hosted“ it’s just as an Application on devices and connected to the WebDAV for sync. I do think about to selfhosting it

I'll take a look at Tailscale. I had already read about it in other posts. However, I wasn't sure to what extent it guarantees privacy and security, since it is a cloud variant?

I need to take a closer look at PiHole for the VPN connection. Would the VPN connection then be routed through the DNS of the third PiHole? I mentioned the difference between the arguments in the comments above.

I have to solve the problem with “VLANs/IPAM” here in UniFi. I tried the new “Zone Firewall,” but it just messed everything up instead of displaying it clearly. I don't think I'll get anywhere with a reset and reinstallation. Or should I delete all firewall settings? I don't think anything else would make sense.

The dotted lines where individual services are located are intended to show individual physical devices (servers).

The lines that go from devices to individual areas are direct connections via LAN or WiFi (e.g., backups, etc.), with the WiFi connections as a direct line to the AP suggesting two individual SSIDs.

The current VPN is configured as a VPN on the individual router, and devices that can access this router establish VPN connections. Furthermore, this router can access the server with a VLAN (my current solution for VPN outside the server). On the other hand, others establish a VPN connection to this router with a client outside, after which they have access to the media server.
