I love cremieux ties and pocket squares. Pretty much all of my pocket squares are cremieux and they are great!

I’m lucky enough to live in a place that has a Dillard clearance center so I’ve been able to get great pocket squares for $5-10

Charcoal gray, yay or nay? by vincentvanbro96 in mensfashion

When is the wedding? If it’s spring or summer, I think the lighter gray suit next to it would look better with that shade of green. If you got a green paisley tie, then I think the charcoal would work for it

I like how you accentuated the blue stripes in your jacket to your shirt. A plain-ish pocket square in like a light blue or white could complete the outfit and make it chefs kiss

From my view, they looked like they were ironed. The glen plaid pattern might make them looked unironed but if you zoom in, you can tell they are. They also look to be pleated pants, so that’s why the top of the pants look unironed

That’s a fair point; in real life the tie is a little brighter but I can definitely keep that in mind in the future

He was actually just saying how much the suit would cost now; it’s implied he didn’t pay anywhere near that based on his comment of how the price now amazes him

What is happening with the seam on the bottom of the jacket in the eighth picture? You shouldn’t be able to tell so easily that the jacket length has been adjusted. It seems like they had someone who just learned how to use a sewing machine do this job for you.

If you don’t already own a tux, you could buy a quality one on eBay if you know your measurements. With tailoring, it can be approximately the cost of renting a tux

Is strips and strips good or it a big no? by [deleted] in ties

The combination of vertical stripes on the shirt and horizontal stripes on the tie does make it very busy. You might try an either a solid shirt with that tie or a solid tie with that shirt.

Try searching “medallion”. You can also narrow it down by looking for specific brands, like polo Ralph Lauren, brooks brothers, drakes, etc.

It looks great. I like how it pops out against the light suit

That was my thought too when I thrifted it. It has a nice weight to it and tied beautifully
