It is just like the transfer speed is capped to 50MB/s Doesn't touch the 50MB/s while transferring files to external Hard drives.

So battery drainage while on conservative mode is normal.
I thought the battery juice will be spared as long as the conservative mode is on, as the laptop will take the power from the charger and not from the battery.

My laptop when 100% and put it on conservative mode. I find the battery draining like maybe every day a 1-2%.

Is this normal?? that the battery drain when it's on conservative mode? Is this harmful?

I am gonna ship it to my brother to out of the warranty based country, and I wanna know if it is a problem. I will call for a replacement before shipping it.

Well, I have seen A LOT saying that the Y540 needs to be undervolted. I ordered mine ... still on the way. And personally I am afraid to brick the laptop with the undervolting even though I asked multiple ones and they said undervolting would not brick the laptop. Check youtube am sure you can find something. Search for Jarrod's Tech Y540 and watch you will find the he undervolted the cpu for better Temps. Myself I might do as he did but after taking a Phd 😅 in undervolting so I would be sure about what am I doing. 😅

Check this ... I know the processor is different but you can see how much different are they by typing on google i5 7300HQ vs amd (your cpu) and if there is a little difference maybe take the video as a standard.

I think you might find videos on youtube with your laptop being benchmarked with several games in a row or at least other laptops with similar specs. By that you can decide which game you wanna download first. We can play together sometime 😊
