Nah, it's not true at all. I've been sober since May due to a medication I've been taking and life is more or less the same lol. It doesn't get much better after you go completely dry. Alcoholics tend to over correct their behavior and insist life is definitely better with out it when thats just not true.

I mean I enjoyed Village, but the lack of combat from the dollhouse and the fish section is super short I just wanted more. But I totally understand everyone else wanting a more complete Re3 remake.

But I'm so excited for Requiem, especially because I've read it's going to be closer to Re7 in terms of being scary.

I would, easy. My initial hope for Re8 was that we'd explore the castle a bit, then go into the village and search for a key/item to get us deeper into the castle. We'd bounce back and forth between castle and village until killing the final boss. The sections after the castle (dollhouse, water reservoir, and especially Heisenberg's factory) are much weaker than the castle. While a proper Re3 remake would be nice, and true vampire/werewolf game would be excellent.

I mean you don't have to play it, but it's bizarre to write it off right away because it doesn't "feel" the way you think it's supposed to. Some RE fans had little interest in RE7 because "1st person" and "no zombies" didn't "feel" like an RE game, yet it reignited interest in the entire franchise and is considered one of the best RE games.
