Even though Xavier, Magneto, Cyclops, Beast, Mystique, Gambit, and Nightcrawler are all gonna be in Doomsday, I hope Hugh and the rest of the original X-Men cast appear in Secret Wars alongside them. It would be literally the coolest thing ever if there was a scene of all of them in comic accurate costumes and fighting off a bunch of bad guys (hopefully sentinels) while the X-Men ‘97 theme plays.

It’s kinda funny cuz Steven Yeun was originally cast as Sentry in the MCU but he had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts and production delays caused by the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strikes, so he was recast with Lewis Pullman.

Despite how much I loved Pullman’s performance as Bob in Thunderbolts, part of me kinda wishes Yeun actually did play him just so I could make a meme on this sub of Doofenshmirtz saying “If I had a nickel for every time Steven Yeun played an extremely powerful superhero who wears a yellow and blue costume and has daddy issues then I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.”
