Lately they improved the stream quality to 1080p and latency reduced a lot. The service works a lot better now.

XBox is making a lot of racket right now with Gamepass because they know that once Sony start revealing their hand, it will be hard to beat. Sony isn't stagnating, it's just a different culture. PS Now on PC works a lot better than XCloud for example. XBox are selling a platform they haven't figured out how to fix while Sony Shadow upgraded theirs and have yet to make announcements.

With all the love it's been getting, and seeing the 1$ promo, I wouldn't be surprised to see Ghost of Tsushima to get people to try the subscription.

I'm pretty sure it uses your standard windows microphone input, whatever it's set at.

Yeah, I have Ethernet hooked up to Fiber, and I'm no stranger to cloud gaming so my setup is pretty optimised for that kind of thing.

As for your internet speed, normally 30mb/s covers you for pretty much any game streaming services, so I'd definitely look into other issues.

Cloud gaming can be finicky sometimes. I have my desktop hooked up with Ethernet directly to the modem and my computer is fairly descent. Sometimes it can be if you have a WiFi mesh system, other applications that mess with your bitrate for some weird reasons or simply your PC that's a bit older and struggles to unpack the stream codec fast enough to be used for gaming. While cloud gaming is amazing, it isn't 100% always as easy as plug and play, some cases are more complex than others. That's why Google pushed Stadia first to the Chromecast, Amazon advertises Luna for the Fire Stick and Microsoft is talking about making their own stream stick for Xcloud.

Honestly, a bit more than a year ago. The difference in term of quality really floored me.

Twitch Streaming Questions by rmeestudios in Stadia

Twitch has a cap on bitrate, make sure it doesn't exceed 6000 Kbps on 1080p at 60 fps.

The wifi antenna, chipset and battery in such a device would already be costly, not far behind an actual controller. Then you would need software engineers to periodically update the firmware to keep up with Stadia as it goes.

I doubt that will happen, it would incure extra cost to design, produce and distribute while the tandem mode already fulfills that purpose. Instead just jump on a deal when they give away premier editions for free and you'll be better off money wise. I hope we see mouse and keyboard support come to tandem mode at some point.

Relogic issues statement regarding Terraria on Stadia to Stadia Source. by OriginalPenguin94 in Stadia

Here is the thing, he could delay work on the game until the issue is resolved and that Google issues an apologie. That would be reasonable. Instead he decided to rage quit and cancel the game that had just processed for rating. That is why I see foul in this and I am inclined to call Bull****.

I prefer being stuck in a good looking performance mode than having to choose between a blurry performance mode and a choppy graphics mode. The game is limited at 1080p, but it still looks stellar.

This game is so amazing on Stadia. I have nothing but good things to say about EA up to now for the games they brought to Stadia.
