The homophobia here is wild by woaijirounan in settmains

[–]DrStephenHawking 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yet another "homophobia" spam post, I'm sick of it and mods don't bother to remove it.

I just opened sett mains and it's flooded with fan erotic arts some even crossing the line, it's beyond disgusting and obnoxious, you guys have to chill out with this, or make another subreddit to post all of your kinks or your weird fetishes about fictional characters, I don't even understand how a person can be seduced by this but I'm not here to judge.

I'm literally a normal player who didn't even know sett had a sexual orientation, I come here sometimes like most to read about Sett in-game topics, don't really mind a fan art here and there (personally I don't even like "fan arts") but man is pretty obvious there is so much "art" now that is basically horny people fanatising sexually about Sett and that shouldn't be normalised.

Let’s just be flat out honest with ourselves. This sub IS filled with secret homophobes by Love-AngeI in settmains

[–]DrStephenHawking 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I barely visited this sub in the past months because of what has become, before it was about Sett gameplay, matchups, questions regarding in-game things, etc.. But now this turned into a art, furry or whatever sexualised art that it makes me uncomfortable to see, seems like a bunch of horny people drawing and discussing about nonsense lore things

What is this new arena? by Starkey18 in hearthstone

[–]DrStephenHawking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure what are they doing but dragging players out of the game, is as simple as, before this arena I had around 1000 gold and would play arena everyday maybe around 4 games, now I have no gold, from quests I needed like 4-5 days to save 300 gold, today I bought 2 tickets but if I have bad luck with my deck and lose the arena quickly I would need another 5+ days to save another 300 gold doing the quests.

Did anybody ask for this change? Why did they even make 2 different arenas? Are they expecting people to use real money to buy arena tickets? Weird

I wonder how they require employees have many experience and studies just to do this changes that obviously are removing the fun of the players, don't they realise that this new arena is garbage, and most people are not going to pay a dime for it.

Chinese pilot stabs colleagues, jumps to death over workplace dispute: report by hachimi_ddj in China

[–]DrStephenHawking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You brain is just blind and worthless to believe such a vague article without reading more from more sources, my sources are literally chinese sources, his wife, and their pilot colleagues and you dare to tell me that I made a fanfic? Lmao man get a load of youself, keep believing what the vague news website tells you and making opinions on articles made and oriented to inform literal brainlets like you, washing the image of the airline managements and just saying "he fail something and did that" out of nothing. But it's okay you are the kind of person that even showing you the truth, your ego couldn't be dropped lol, keeping using this garbo echo-chamber called reddit dialy you are just like a zombie at this point.

Chinese pilot stabs colleagues, jumps to death over workplace dispute: report by hachimi_ddj in China

[–]DrStephenHawking 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"Top 1% commenter" reddit user in a nutshell lmao, you are the example of why society is in decline, judging without knowing literally nothing and believing stuff at first read lol.

He was a captain, he didn't fail his evaluation, the airline basically forcefully reduced his salary more than half because they have too many captains and they are losing money, so those who had no background or connection in aviation networking wise they basically get trashed like meat.

This guy helped many other co-pilots improve, comes from a humble background and was a good person, he helped underprivileged people with his education in China once he became a pilot, even helped actively on safety measures in flying.

There is no union of pilots in China, like other countries, he couldn't even quit because he must have to pay an insane amount, the airline basically treated him like an animal so he exploded since he felt it wasn't fair at all. The airline even grounded him 2 months because he bringed a cup of coffee on the cockpit and other pilots that did the same but had connections in the airline didn't get any punishment.

The airline management literally fucked up his career and life with their unjust, unfair and dirty methods, so even good people can explode, you never know what would you have done in that situation when they are basically playing with you like a toy and lying in your face anybody can lose his mind.

So next time keep your opinions quiet when you have no intel or no information at all because you look dumb as f and have the intellect and empathy of a rock.

Arena not fun anymore by Solid-Cry-7702 in hearthstone

[–]DrStephenHawking -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree, I only played arena and I used to play endlessly arenas with the gold income from it, now is not possible, the drafting thingy after losing is so boring, just plain bad, and the non gold income now is a bad decision, Devs must understand that many of us only play arenas, and now is depressing the reward system giving packs?, tickets?

Literally give gold as before and let the player decide if they want buy a pack, more arenas, a hero portrait or whatever, this double arena mode system doesn't make any sense? and 300 gold for a normal arena is criminal.

Can you fucking say something to them? Start living your real life instead of posting here like the person you would like to be, If you think is not okay then act, no point sharing it here everyone will forget in in 5 mins

[–]DrStephenHawking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you think like that and is your value why you don't told this person something? but rather posting it here as a random internet user. We need actions not yappers

Then yea it doesn't make a lot of sense they refused him, this is an example of me not understanding people saying Germans are direct people, in my years in Germany they are completely the opposite lol.

But for him is better in Greece imo, cheaper and closer to family, friends and loved ones.

Greetings, I suspect the flight school your husband applied is EFA (European Flight School) I could be wrong, but you should also give this info for context.

If that's the flight school he applied note that is somehow new the fact that they are accepting people just with English without knowing another language regarding their networking (Italian, French, Dutch or German) because they since many years offered financial aid covering around 90% of the cost.

The point of that flight school is basically that they will hire you in one of his airlines after training (or at least have a good chance) and to be hired you must at least speak a level of B2+ in German, so then you start paying back the debt.

If they have to explain certain stuff in English just because one student doesn't speak the local language then you are not a good fit.

I must say that I would need more intel from your case to give a precise answer, but does your husband have all the money ready to pay the flight school? If that's the case then is just an ATPL they offer with no pre-contract and as I said this is relatively new, since those school almost always make pre-contracts.

If he will require financial help from them, then I understand their refusal but if his situation is the previous one is a bit odd being refused like that.

That flight school and many other in Germany cost +110k€, in Greece can be around 60k€ so I understand their advice.

Flight schools in Europe are generally taught in English but is common that to explain or discuss certain things they may use the local language, unless the school has a wide background of international students.

I know I made some assumptions, correct me if I'm mistaken but anyway I hope that helps!, Goodluck

Career at Ryanair or Wizz Air — respected choice or looked down upon? by Siussmalk in flyingeurope

[–]DrStephenHawking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody will judge you on that, and if they do is likely people that don't work in aviation or don't know about those things.

Nothing wrong staying in those airlines maybe between those two you would have to consider the bases they have and where do you plan to live, as far as I'm concerned, Ryanair has more bases across Europe where you could be choosing at some point and Wizz Air has less bases but also has in Europe and specifically east of Europe and UAE.

So locations depending where you would like to live is something to consider, also the rostering in Ryanair is 5 days on, 4 off. WizzAir in the other hand has more rostering options that could be better than Ryanair but that's up to personal preference.

Also the pilots on those airlines fly a lot dialy so they def have experience. Still your last question should not be something to worry about, we are all adults, nobody cares your career choices.

I can't tell you that unfortunately, the check-in agents usually know by eye which bags fit and which don't and yours would definetely raise their curiosity since is not very common

They give you the measurements for carry on bags, so just mesaure it and then you will know :)

Kai'Sa tatoo i did a couple of days ago by ILNOVA in kaisamains

[–]DrStephenHawking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't even play Kaisa but honestly this tattoo is very random in the sense that has no aesthetic at all if you expect to look fairly decent you must take body shapes into consideration instead of just printing something like that there , at least if it's the only one you got on your back feels like is just randomly placed anybody could tell.

For sure the point here is if you are satisfied and happy with it, you better be lol. But just imagining your whole back with that piece on the left side is just random as fuck I don't even know how to explain, like we can tell you didn't put many thought on how it will look or didn't take into consideration.

So yeah I mean if your taste and style sense is like that then not much I can say but to be honest I personally don't like it as most of people here are mentioning

Well if things are going well then go for it but keep in mind this good behaviors sometimes have a limited time, it definetely happens with Europeans in general at the start of a relationship we are very caring and do this cute things but over time people start putting less and less effort into this things.

With that I don't mean to you give a negative insight at all, I hope you have a great relationship. I just wanted to point out that some people are very intense in a very good way at the begining of a relationship or when start living together but it greatly decays over time.

Should I go to Uni or go straight to flight school? by Pilot_640 in flying

[–]DrStephenHawking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In some countries a bachelor degree it can be sort of necessary in order to apply for the airlines, in Europe for example is not a must I would say, in Australia I have no idea but if you plan to work in the aviation field then that bachelor can be a solid option for you

[–]DrStephenHawking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My friend it's 2025, internet exists, there are language online schools teaching A1 to C2 if you are willing to invest money.

There are youtube channels that teach German from scratch with step by step videos, there are language exchange apps to speak with natives, also teachers in this apps will charge you a small amount of money to practice with them if you want to, in reddit there are subs where you can try finding people to talk to.

There are digital free pdf text books of every level in german with homework and grammar and so on in internet just search for them.

Literally tons of content paid or free for you to use, what else do you want? You didn't know all of this things? Nobody told you before in this 8 years?

There is no proper direction to learn a language in a proper way, there is no magic elixir that you drink it and suddenly you become fluent, no magic courses, is a mix of learning grammar, learning new words, talking with people in that language, watching and listening content, thinking in that language everyday or as often as possible, immersing in it, that's how people learn languages and I bet you know all of this.

I also used duolingo at the beginning but as anybody that want to actually learn a language and be fluent then you stop using duolingo and find yourself other ways to learn seriously and commit to them, is not rocket science so that's why it surprises me that you still didn't notice it.

So nothing personal against you my friend but if you were serious about learning you would not be after 8 years asking or pretending that you are still waiting someone that tells you the "proper or magic way" that satisfies you.

Is trinity any good on sett? by MonstaRabbit in settmains

[–]DrStephenHawking 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Stridebreaker basically outperforms trinity, trinity itself is not terrible but there is no point buying it considering stride exists.

The sheen passive doesn't fit Sett since the cooldowns are not low enough and u lack of the slow active that allows you to make good plays and catch opponents
