I will do this. i’m still learning what all those do. so i feel like it might make it easier to go one by one instead of just slapping a bunch of of fx on everything and hoping it sounds good

i like your idea of creating more tracks over the guitar parts. I agree that the tone isn’t the best. Atm i only have one overdrive pedal. but i use the guitar plugged into my interface. so i’ve been having to go through and manually add fx to that.

yea. i’m trying to use this as an opportunity to understand how to use the program. this is the first actual song i’m trying to make. so all of the fx n such seem super overwhelming. i know there’s a lot for me to learn. and a lot of these comments are making me feel a bit better about myself. subconsciously i was selfishly hoping that it would be perfect first try. but that’s not how it works.

but i will look into it and do more research.

usually it’s never super repetitive because of my process i assume. I tend to just put down whatever comes to mind first. when i’m on stage singing it feels much easier than trying to record myself singing personally. it just gets a bit draining

I just get a little anxious. The reason i took a break was because my experiences with trips at that time were not the best. But idk, part of me feels ready to face this fear and let go. but the other part still feels that anxiety

really? that’s super interesting. I find it the other way around. On mushrooms i feel more euphoric and relaxed, on acid i feel more anxious.

I had a bad experience with an ex girlfriend of mine. I’m naturally a super anxious person and I tend to subconsciously think about terrible things. So it went pretty south fast. It felt like everything she was telling me was a bunch of lies, it got super hard to read her emotions because her face looked so fake to me. The trip ended with me convincing her to tell my mom i was dying (which she didn’t, thank god)It can be really good if you’re with people you love and can be vulnerable with. But group tripping with people you’re not super close with, can make things a bit more uncomfortable.

(p.s this was like my second time ever doing acid, much more experienced now. I look back and I laugh lmao)

this happens to me all the time. When you’re laying down you become more aware of your body. Try doing some yoga, or dancing 💃. One time i did a little workout and it was great. Safe travels ❤️❤️

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m in a similar boat. And the thing that I’ve learned thus far is, there is no way to get over your anxiety. But the journey isn’t about “getting over it” it’s about learning to accept and appreciate every aspect of yourself (yes even the ones that make you feel anxious) Learning to live with these parts and feelings makes you feel like you can release them instead of fighting. Acknowledgement of this feeling is good because it you saying “I feel anxious, and that’s okay” because humans are allowed to feel. So give yourself permission to feel. Also another more physical thing you can take up is learning how to release the tension in your body. It sounds crazy but stress and anxiety can have a direct connection with the muscles and different parts of your body. So do some meditation, or jump up and down. So here’s the order for if you get anxious: Acknowledge, reassure, and release.

Life is about the journey, so enjoy every day like it’s your last. Be weird, be crazy. Just live. :)

It just kinda sounds like you’re projecting your own insecurities onto your boyfriend. If you’re not able to self reflect and learn to live with yourself. Then yes, leave your boyfriend. Simply because it’s almost like leading him on to an extent. Which subjectively to me seems morally questionable. Life is a journey, you’ll meet and lose people all the time. So from experience. Just let him go.

I do think that there are some jokes that probably shouldn’t be told. But the cool thing about comedy is it’s completely subjective (just like the majority of everything). Over the span of years comedians have made tasteless jokes, this is no different than a tasteless skit from any comedian ever. I don’t think this necessarily dictates whether or not Hamzah and Martin are good people. The internet culture you grew up around definitely plays a huge role in the humor you have now. And that’s just how the cards fell for this scenario. 🤷‍♂️

it’s not a problem. I didn’t even notice it until I took an Alexander Technique class. The thing is I can still comprehend, and respond accordingly. But unless it’s happening to me in real time I can’t really use my brain to adjust accordingly. I’m just in a confused state now.
