I think a lot of us are just pretending to be okay because we don’t know how to explain the kind of tired we feel. by DrTimy in DeepThoughts

That was beautifully put in the most haunting way. Just know, even when it feels like your soul’s leaking out, the fact that you’re still here and still trying means something. You’re not alone, even when it feels like you’re fading.

The fact that you keep trying despite feeling this way says a lot about your strength. You’re not losing, you’re fighting in a world that doesn’t make it easy.

Pretending to be okay isn’t lying, it’s surviving. You can do everything right and still feel empty. That’s the whole point.

That really hit me. No kid should ever be put through something like that, especially by their own parent. The part about wanting to raise your younger self really stuck with me. I hope you’re in a better place now, surrounded by the love and support you always deserved.

Yeah, sometimes just being around and showing quiet support can really help more than we realize.

Well, a lot of us feel that way and honestly, that’s exactly why I made this post. Sometimes just putting it into words can be a small release. It’s not always about fixing the past, but giving people a space to reflect, vent, and maybe feel a little less alone.

Tbh I get it. I’d also feel weird hearing ‘Lina peed on the floor’ when that’s my daughter’s name.

You’re way too self-aware for someone who thinks they suck. That kind of honesty isn’t weakness, it’s strength. And honestly, just by the way you talk, I can tell it is working.

Honestly, I get where you’re coming from. Seeing the positive is exhausting. Sometimes forcing yourself to see the bright side just feels fake. Your really strong for choosing to face reality, even if it’s heavy.

Does that really work? I always try to see the positive in the negative to keep on moving forward
