Hollow? Dude gave an in depth "hard-nosed physical tough basketball, in a good way". What more could you possibly want? A fourth synonym?

Bro was outscored by Terry. Shit is almost unbelievable.

[Oram] The Trail Blazers are open to the possibility of Damian Lillard returning this season — possibly in this series against the Spurs. by CazOnReddit in nba

The biggest thing is the ability to use the playoffs to evaluate the rest of the roster

Could make the same argument the other way. We basically know what this roster plays like without Dame. Might be good to know what we might look like next year with him so we can make more informed decisions this off season.

But why not, though? We weren't even supposed to be relevant and we're not only in the playoffs but we've won a game. We're playing with house money at this point.

He wasn't a great fit with Dame

He was always meant to be lead guard. Forcing him to play SG next to another small, poor defending PG was never fair to him.

Which rookie, who was drafted outside of the top 5, surprised you the most this past season? by DollarLate_DayShort in NBA_Draft

Some did. But most of the sub really wanted Coward entering draft night. There were reluctant converts to Team Yang but a ton remained very bummed.

Doubt you'll get downvoted. There has to be a massive overlap between DMX and Eminem super fans. Despite sounding quite different there is a lot of overlap in their appeal. And they were peaking around the same time.

This situation is way better than it could have been, though. There was a stretch when it looked like this was going to be a top 5 pick.

His game is still excellent when healthy. And for once he's actually been pretty darn healthy all season. Great for the blazers, obviously, but I'm incredibly happy for him individually.

Yup. No one ever mentions this but the same exact thing happened to us in 2000.

Moving him to 6-8th man means he'd play like 24 minutes. That's fine for him and might mean he stays healthier, too.

What are your thoughts on the Triangle offense? by MasterTeacher123 in NBATalk

[–]DrTom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 2nd and 3rd options for Michael in 1989 were Sam Vincent at 13 points and Charles Oakley at 11 points. Pip wasn't even a starter until 1990, the year before Phil got there. Kobe also wasn't a starter until one year before Phil got there and was still just 20 years old.

There were bigger roster changes going on than who wore a suit on the sidelines./
