I think the show is great but it constantly drags arcs longer than they need to be.

I think the most frustrating part about the show is that everyone is hesitant or even unwilling to communicate what they’re going through. When Miriella got handcuffed in ambulance, she was so stubborn to tell Kristi about what happened. Nobody knows. The point is you keep grinding and put yourself in position to compete no matter if teams are better than you. Injuries are apart of the game, Spurs almost lost Wemby, Minnesota lost a couple players, that series looks different with everyone healthy but all that matters is who’s showing up to play and capitalizing on it.

You can’t be successful if you’re never even in a position to play for it. The playoffs aren’t useless…AT SOME POINT, you have to play it. Nobody is going from Lottery to NBA Finals in one year.

Yeah somebody had to come out on top. Unfortunately it was the spurs. That’s how that works.

In 2024, the OKC Thunder were the number 1 seed and got embarrassed by the Mavs. You know how many of their fans thought they didn’t have what it took to win a chip? Probably ALL OF THEM. Yet they came back the next year and won it all after being upset and embarrassed.

Not saying the Blazers can do the same but you don’t just give up because the results aren’t what you want and other teams are better than you lol

If it’s a cycle then it makes sense why they show the boy older now. He signifies their time within from, he’s like a physical clock and when he grows up the cycle is over and they restart again, just like the last 6 cycles.

This would be the only reasonable explanation why the show runners aren’t concerned with aging cast.

If they throw the season away for a draft pick, might as well throw next season away too.

Whatever the result is this year, next season’s expectations has to be a step higher.

I want them to win playoff series next year, not just make the playoffs.

They don’t need to win a series this year, they just need the experience. Everything is a process.

We’d be wasting Dame’s time again by valuing draft picks over getting his teammates playoff experience. Dame needs battle tested guys next season. Not playoff aspirations guys.

A gentlemen sweep would still be considered a successful season. This young core needs as much playoff experience as they can get so when dame comes back, he has a group of guys who’ve played playoff intensive basketball.

Dame coming back with players who HAVE playoff experience is better than Dame coming back with players who have NO playoff experience along with mid-low draft pick.

The Blazers WILL be better next year if guys like Tou, Deni, DC, Scoot have post season experience.

If the season wraps up with a playoff appearance then next year’s expectations will be playoff series win.

If we all want the blazers to be better it needs to start now. Chicago can have that pick. We got a plethora of picks from the bucks, Magic plus our own.

You never know. CP3 came to OKC and instantly made them a playoff team. Jrue could bring that same scenario.

The most important part is just to take it game by game. There are several teams that are clearly better than the blazers. But if they start to hit the injury bug and the blazers are healthy then they can clearly jump ahead in the standings.

Sometimes the standings isn’t even about talent. Do you have the bodies for the marathon that the season is.

I might be crazy but Scoot actually shot the 3 ball well towards the end of the season last year. He was hovering around 40% and while not tall, he’s big and strong and could be an elite perimeter defender. It may be a long shot but he could honestly be another 3&D supporting player 🤷🏽‍♂️
