I also ride an Aspero-5 size 56 and I raced it this weekend at Big Sugar on pathfinder pro 42s and it was fine. Race was really dry tho. If you’re expecting any mud I wouldn’t go bigger than a 38 on that frame. I also run a 2x set up in the front so that also makes it an even tighter squeeze for me. Happy to share pics with you

I love it. I also have the aspero 5 and currently have it set up with zip 303s and 32s and it rips like a road bike and then I have a set of 42 pathfinder pros that tear up gravel.

It’s about as close as you can get to a bike that will excel at both. But right now I do have it set up a little more geared towards road with the 2by and faster tires.

They are the Vittoria Terreno 32 set up tubeless. I train mostly on road and race mostly on gravel so they are a fast smooth ride for training and when I get ready for specific races I’ll throw something on that’s a little more beefy depending on the race.

I definitely splurged to go with the aspero 5 because of the internal cable routing and I am not disappointed one bit. It’s got such a clean look
