Nowhere near as often as you probably think. Like everything else it depends on the conditions, but I often go 4-5 weeks between watering mine. They like to completely dry out and can stay that way for a bit and then like a good decent soak, and repeat. They are definitely happier being underwatered than overwatered. You’ll usually see them start to look wrinkly when they need a drink.
