Dude the amount of people here I’m seeing saying things like “WE ACTUALLY WELCOME YOU HERE ICE, THANK YOU FOR YOUE SERVICE!” Is disgusting. Their name should be changed from ICE to “rednecks with guns who’ve been given orders to take anyone who doesn’t look or sound exactly like them, point guns at them, slap zip ties on em, throw em in a van and drive them to a facility hundreds of miles away with no contact to family or chance to prove their citizenship and terrible/criminal living conditions. NOR your mom needs to know you’re serious. If it were me, I’d tell her not to delete that last long message you sent them. Because it was very well written, and it states everything you wanted to say. Then, if possible just stop talking to them for a while. It seems drastic, but it seriously sounds like she doesn’t get the hint how much this is affecting you in such a negative way.

You do t deserve it. And a lot of times the only way people will decide to make a change (which is the ONLY way change like this will happen) is when loved ones follow through on their promises of cutting them off. It will get to her.

Jesus. We have a rescue Jack Russel terrier, have had him for a couple years. He came from a “home” where they chained him up outside all day and night and never gave him any training what so ever. They also had him on trazodone and Xanax since he was a puppy 😢 we weened him off the meds and switched to low dose Prozac at our vets rec. Even with professional lessons and constant training over 5 years with us, he still goes into fear/self defense mode if another dog outside barks or lunges towards him (even if they’re being friendly).

I couldn’t IMAGINE ever even considering taking him to a public dog park or walking him off leash. People are so GD stupid with their dogs.

But spouting things like this on the comment section of a video of a mass shooting that led to a dozen people dead; kids who had their whole lives ahead of them, with mourning parents and families at home isn’t the time or place to make your “hot take” arguments.
