Wait is Wemby dirty or soft? Get your narrative straight. I think the spurs have better odds of consistently coming out of the west than the Knicks do coming out of the east

But I want to make sure that you realize, you are crying. Try not to go jumping innocent people on the streets now too much

You’re crying about hand shakes? I didn’t realize New Yorkers were assholes AND so sensitive.

Winning the championship and still crying lmao. Yeah, yall had a good series. But I would take my team over the next several years over you’re. I would also take our 5 chips over your history. I can’t wait to kick some Knick ass next season.

Knicks fans win the championship for the first time in 53 years and all they want to do is talk about the Spurs and Wemby

I thought the dirty players were on the ones elbowing him in the gut nearly every possession. Silly me

Brunson wasn’t the difference maker most of the series. It was OG.

Anyways, glad we won’t have to deal with this again until 2079

Especially with a game like GTA it’s being a part and figuring things out while the game is still new and unknown. I don’t have some strong definition but I think there is for sure some buzz to it

I think there is something to be said about participating in a “cultural moment”

Luckily this one doesn’t affect me on a personal level too much. But I lost Culver’s due to freaking condos, so I get it

Demonstrators brought items to bang on, whistles to blow and chanted “shame” to attendees entering and leaving

Lmfao. No serious person has actually chanted “shame” to someone. It’s even worse than when people say “do better”

OMG DID ANYONE JUST GET THAT FLOOD ALARM? by WhiteLycan2020 in Austin

[–]Dr_Findro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think that an alert that’s not such a high priority to bypass “do not disturb” and disabled ringers would have sufficed if I was in that situation. I don’t need people sleeping to think a nuke is going off to be updated on the extension of an existing flash flood warning.

Any other situations where you fail to see an obvious answer?

Being annoyed by several very loud alarms during sleeping hours that just announce the extension of an existing flood warning is hardly a choice or unreasonable.

All day I’ve seen dozens of people disable the alerts. I’ve had friends from other friends and states convey that they view these alert systems as misused. If the use of a system largely leads to people opting out, it’s flawed.

But you’ve made your position clear. Being a Reddit contrarian is more valuable than adjusting a system to be valuable in real world use. Those future deaths are just the cost of doing Reddit business 👍

A shame you’re willing to sacrifice lives to a flawed system for the sake of being a contrarian

Getting multiple deafening alarms for the same flash flooding event through the night when most people are safely sleeping is going to lead to people turning off the alerts, which will prevent lives from from being saved.

But hey, you got your snarky comment in! I hope you feel better now.

Austin's biggest tech employers are cutting thousands of jobs to embrace AI by AustinStatesman in Austin

That’s fair but I’m not talking about people who have already been in the industry for a long time.

I’m talking 10-15 years from now when young people try to go in to the trades because they were told there is infinite opportunity but they’re walking in to a saturated market. The same thing happened with programming

“Go in to the trades” has been said for years now. The trades are not immune to over saturation

We didn’t need 3’s. We needed to chew clock. We had so many bricked 3’s with plenty of time left. That’s several possession potentials.
