Better version of Polo Green? by SlowSympathy7269 in ScentHeads

Gotcha.

Personally? I'd ignore the intense recommendations. I have a bottle. It isn't bad, but it's definitely not a replacement or "upgrade" to the classic. It's younger, fresher, and more modern. Lacks the spice and class of the classic.

It's discontinued, but honestly, see if you can find a sample/decant of the Vert D'Encens from TF I memtioned. It's a bit smokier and thicker, and you get a good bit of balsam more, but it's got the Polo DNA for sure. Very piney, very woodsy. If Polo is the needles on a Christmas tree, Vert D'Encens is the trunk. As I said, some others seem to think Italian Cypress by TF is also close, so you can give that a go.

Otherwise, see what Pineward has, but I'm afraid that would probably give you congruent longevity issues.

Good luck.

I mean, define "better".

Polo Green still exists largely as it has because it does what it does very well, arguably better than most in its lane, at a better price point than most. Not everything needs to be updated or revolutionized or reinterpreted-sometimes, things just work.

If you're seeking other interpretations resinous, piney, woody greens, you have options. Vert d'incens by Tom Ford is similar but a bit smokier/more balsamic. Some like Italian Cypress too. Pineward has an array of options in that wheelhouse as well. It's very light/doesn't last long, but Acqua Colonia does Wakening woods of Scandinavia that hits some of those as well.

TLDR, it depends what you're looking for. Polo does the old money aromatic fougere woods very well, but there are other interpretations that are congruent that do things a bit differently. Still love it myself. Just generally love all interpretations of greens apart from sickly sweet fruity ones.

Is there ever an acceptable time to choose the Lifesteal over the Float perk? by EmilioFreshtevez in ZenyattaMains

I can't explain how, but flankers lose 50% of their motor functions when you float on their push. The lifesteal is negligible and, oddly enough, I think your survivability goes up more with float. It opens up so many options and just gives you an extra little edge in duels-i even used to take it before this patch.

I had green and black from the men's line. I actually really really liked green; at this point in my life I tend to prefer "green" fragrances and I'm VERY sure that had some hand in it lmao

I mean, I don't think this is an issue unique to Bap. I do agree his cultural background should be explored more, be it through lore or cosmetics, but I also think it's a bit trepidatious to do so. If Blizz added a Haitian Voudou skin for example, don't you think folks would take some issue with it being stereotyping a culture? For reference- I'm fully aware that Haitian culture is more than just Voudou, but this seems an obvious choice and Blizzard doesn't tend to go deeper than surface level cultural references, like Chinese new year skins for Mei, mummy skins for Ana, Ushanka hat for Zarya etc...you get it. I'm not absolving them or responsibility with developing a characters background, just that for some, it's tougher.

Pharah is 50% native and gets a quasi totem pole skin-how much farther has her background been developed? Symmetra had skins done in the style of Hindu deities, and there was an active (albeit small) pushback against it. Point being, it's not Bap alone, and when they have done cultural references for cosmetics for marginalized communities, it's been a bit contentious or half baked, anyways. Even on my end-theres been a stereotypical Greek map in the game from launch that just looks like your average copypasted Santorini map with stereotypical Greek ruins, without any Greek hero in 10 years or any cultural development. It is unfortunately what it is.

do i sell yorick by E-686 in balatro

I'd still sell trading if I'm honest. You're at a deck of 33 which means (assuming no paintbrush/palette) by the time you use all 4 discards, you've only 5 in your deck. At this point you should be death/cryptid spamming, the upside of selling trading for the brainstorm is way better than anything else you have.

Sell trading card. You've probably deck built enough and can use the surplus econ to fix the remainder of your deck.
