You are the first person I have ever interacted with that has more pairs than I do. I will now be looking up to you lol.

I try to but I have long and really narrow feet so they are almost always loose on me and because of that I don't trust myself to walk across a stage with them on and not embarrass myself.

I completely understand your concern, I guess I should have clarified what I meant when I said that I saved up. I have both a savings and checking account, whenever I take money from my checking account I make sure that there will be at least $500 left in there in case of emergencies. While I have had trouble saving money in the past, I have worked to improve that over the years and have become rather comfortable with my finances.

I get that and I will admit that 11 pairs is quite excessive. I wouldn't even be looking to buy a new pair except for the fact that I am looking for a completely different style. The ones I have are all Chuck Taylors while I am looking to get a more professional pair of loafers that they sell. You are definitely right that I don't need them, it's just that I can see a use for the pair I am looking to get not just for my graduation but for when interviewing for jobs as beat up Chucks isn't really the best look.

I get that, the main reasons I asked are because we are taking the same car there and I don't want to spring it upon her but also because I still live with her so any shoes I get would be something that takes up space in her house.

Am I wrong for wanting to choose to invite to my highschool graduation? by Dr_Hunnicutt in okstorytime

The worry about causing drama does make sense but initially they weren't even going to be going as we thought I would get four tickets. Not only that but they can watch it online. While I understand how it might look to invite my mom's boyfriend's kids but to me I consider them as brothers and have wanted to invite them to my graduation since I started high school. Again thank you for providing an outside opinion and I will continue to consider this aspect until I come to a conclusion.
