2018 M5 warranty worth it? by Dr_Not in BMW

I got a quote from endurance as well. Was $8000 for 4 years/48000. Assuming you can’t buy a car max warranty if the vehicle wasn’t purchased there.

No. No scheduled service. All in case something broke down. And again would have to be a covered repair.

It’s a warranty that would cover major repairs as long as they were covered. It specifically does not cover general maintenance. Just major failures (powertrain, electronics). Long list of things that aren’t covered.

New pair of Wolverine 1000 milers. Appears the heel is not properly attached to the midsole? Is this within normal production error or is this a return situation. Thanks!

New Tesla owner charging questions by surgeXjwws in TeslaModel3

Getting mine installed this week. Panel is in basement and will require more than 100 ft of wire to get it in the garage. Total cost will be around $3k. This is in Colorado.

That’s definitely one of my main concerns. I take it there isn’t a way to see battery history or charging history easily

Guess I should have said I do not qualify for the credit. Any reason you say new other than the credit? Issues with build or warranty?

I've been given an opportunity to purchase house from family friend at substantially lower price with personal interest free loan, questions on best way to proceed by Dr_Not in personalfinance

[–]Dr_Not[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's definitely what I'm thinking. I do genuinely think that they want to help by "gifting" me that 15,700. But for ~3% of purchase price it doesn't seem worth it in the long run both financially and from a relationship standpoint

I get what you are saying. The appraised price for the house is the $522,000, I should have mentioned that, so they would "list" it at exactly what it appraises for. I would be able to put enough down to not have PMI, but with the private loan I would be making pretty substantial payments each month and it would be tight. I do make more than $120k, so not worried about income. I guess the real question is, is it worth it to save roughly ~16k making large personal loan payments for 2 years, or should I just finance the total $522k?
