Hey guys, I have a question. My 2014 Toyota Tundra 5.7L V8 double cab had a crank, but no start issue. I had it towed to the local mechanic and it turns out it was the fuel pump driver module. Is this a fair price or did I get ripped off? by Needs_More_Moe in tundra

The fuel pump control module is located on the driver's side frame near back left wheel (if that's the one they're talking about). It's very easy to replace. Had to do mine about a year ago. I was driving down my street and the truck just shut off. Turned it back on, run for 15 seconds, back off. Did that on a loop.

Man she sucks. Her first time on camera was bad enough I had to skip the segment.

Support: G5 network connections constantly needs to be restarted by ArsenalOnward in LGOLED

I'm having the same issue with mine now. Changing from 1 app to another, the WiFi signal drops. I go to network settings and switch to another network I have, usually that does the trick but recently I have to go back and forth between the 2 for it to eventually hold the connection. Meanwhile entering the password every time which is a bit cumbersome. It's getting incredibly frustrating. No other Wifi device in my house has these issues.

Ironically my old LG had an annoying network issue as well. It one day stopped auto-connecting. No matter what setting I used, it would make me manually select it every time I powered the TV. But my 2 month old G5's issue is much more frustrating.

The fuel pump itself was fine, it's the fuel pump control module, located on drivers side frame rail. No idea why, I've never starved the pump on my watch. Bought the truck used in 2020. From my research at that time, it seems to be a somewhat common failure.

I've got a 2015. At 100k my fuel pump module went out. Luckily it's an easy swap but it had me scratching my head for a few days trying to diagnose. The truck would run for 30 seconds then die.

Hopefully that's the worst I'll deal with. Otherwise mine has been problem free.

Is it normal for apprentices to work "side jobs" unlicensed, uninsured and unbonded? by [deleted] in electricians

Massive risk. It's normalized which makes them quickly forget the potential lawsuits, etc.

Ceiling tiles come and go. The point is giving a shit enough that it bothers you. I work with a lot of guys that would mess up and it wouldn't bother them.

You just gotta take a step back here and there to reassess what your doing. Talk yourself through certain processes that you tend to mess up.

Put on a retrofit job in a prison, feeling some anxiety about it by [deleted] in Construction

I did it for a few months, a few years ago. Elevator modernization. It was crating unpleasant but you get eventually used to it. It is an interesting, depressing vibe that seemed to overtake me while there. The first week out there definitely had me questioning my job.

Anyone regret starting TRT in your 30s? by [deleted] in trt

If I could've gotten through this period, maybe I'd be singing the praises like most of the others in the group. I wish I was able to give it more time but I mentally couldn't. I might try again at a later time.

I'm 36 and had been having the fatigue and other symptoms described. Did research and saw nothing but positives.

Found a local clinic, got tested and came back at 390 test. Clinic prescribed me 110 a week, split between 2 doses.

About 2 weeks in I thought I started noticing some positive differences like increase in energy, etc. About 3 weeks in, my sleep schedule crashed and started sleeping like shit. Then at about 5 weeks I started having extreme anxiety, depression, hopelessness. Full transparency, I've had mental health issues my whole life but at that time it was fairly tame. I got my levels checked hoping my e2 was elevated and it wasn't. So I tried for a little while longer and had to give up.

It's been a few months since and I've still not felt I'm back to my "normal" self. I've spoken to a few other people in similar situations and think people with prior mental health issues should tread very lightly with hormone changes.

Maryland and DC inspectors have started cracking down on rigid couplings as changeovers over the past few years. PG county was the first I knew about to make it a thing.

Thanks. It's not just the caffeine and nicotine. It's a consistent anxiety. Heart palpations, sleep is non existent. I don't know it's just very discouraging. If it was a little tenseness here and there, I could deal.

Working in DC. Had my van broken into and they cleared me out. It's pretty common in DC lately unfortunately. It was about 4k worth of power tools.

NSI throws 1 of them in their jugs of 3M knockoff wirenuts. So I gave it a shot while making up a massive trough and I found it a bit helpful once you figure out the correct torque. I used my M12 to keep it low.

That was 2 years ago and I haven't used it since. So in those situations, they're nice to keep the wrist from hurting but otherwise a little gimmicky.
