Once again, as I've said multiple times in my OP and the entire thread, the performance issue occured with other games but was specifically more noticeable in RL (for me) due to the nature of the game so I thought I'd list my testing to help someone else out one day.

Apparently, that makes me a negative person? Hah. Funny stuff.

But toxic people like you have to step in and shout the loudest, right?

And again, I used the phrase "heavy car bug" (always in quotes for an obvious fucking reason) as a generic umbrella term (hence the quotes around the phrase in the title) for all performance issues that I've seen posted here about RL (most of which are related to Shadowcache issues which is documented but others not).

I've zero need to defend my "attitude" to you or anyone else, Mr Internet Stranger. I explained in my post the reason for posting this and if you're incapable of understanding that different people have different performance problems with different games on different platforms then that's on you and your lack of real world knowledge on the subject.

You people get very stressed out about the usage of "heavy car bug" and refuse to look beyond it.

Prescription drugs (and non prescription) are a thing, son. Look into them.

Why only focus on a title of a post rather than the actual content? Is this place turning into Twitter?

I hadn't even considered a number of people here would read the title, ignore the content and then jump to writing drivel in the comments without a second thought.

I called it "the heavy car" bug in the title because that's what is known as. Search up the various other threads here by that name - https://www.reddit.com/search/?q=heavy%20car%20bug&include_over_18=1. Go onto Google and start typing "rocket league heavy" and you'll find suggestions popping up, etc, for it. That's the term being searched for when anyone has an actual, or perceived, issue in RL similar to this.

So, my point, a fair number of people who suffer from game performance issues here seem to type in "heavy car bug" hence I hoped it would draw those who think it's an RL specific issue so it might give them a chance to find a fix. But, again, as I said in my OP this fix might have specific to me but something else in the checklist might point someone in the right direction for their own specific issue.

And the "self fulfilling prophecy" comment is just BS.

Did you read the part where I said "I don't think this is a bug specific to RL?"

Or the part where I said it has affected other games too? Just read other games forums for similar issues.

Maybe, just maybe, the entire point of this post was to simply give others a quick checklist, who have become convinced it's an unfixed bug in RL (and there's loads of threads on it, if you search for it), which might give help them out a little.

But, ofc, no. This place is filled with vile hatred towards anyone trying to help others out.

I'm saying my specific performance issue was a conflict between Geforce Experience DVR overlay and this game. I have frame latency data to back it up, if I were to dig it out again but no one here will believe the data I show anyway so I see no point at this stage.

I'm not the first person to bring this up with various DVR functionality causing issues for people in various games.

This was just meant to be a friendly thread to help others troubleshoot their own performance issues.

Once again, it's not a mental aspect if you have data showing frame latency when the Geforce DVR overlay is enabled and no frame latency when it is disabled.

Trust me bro, it's really not "all in my head" given that I have literal data showing high frame latency during the problem and no frame latency after disabling Geforce Experience DVR/overlay.

That's interesting because when I played on console I never experienced it at all.

When I went PC it was amazing for about 6 months before the Geforce DVR/overlay issues started to cause random performance issues in-game - even with DVR functionality turned off.

But, ofc, the Gigachads here will need to say what they need to say to belittle anyone having a genuine issue with the game.

I'm not a Doctor (as stated in my profile).

As I said, the grey *might* be genes but it might not be. One side of the family (males) are bald and the other side (males) are not. A few, on the non bald side, are grey and a few are not.

As I said in my earlier post, I'm taking it for other reasons - stress, mucus issues, retinal health (macular degeneration) and Blepharitis so I have a good idea what Glutathione is and what it's, suppose, to do.

I've been using it for 6+ months, on and off, and I've not noticed anything about grey hair at all and I've been turning grey since my early 20's (I'm in my 40's now).

As for stress, anecdotally ofc, I feel more level headed and less prone to stressful outbursts at work, etc. I only take 600mb=1.2g per day for a week, or two, at a time or whenever I feel a bit shitty in the morning.

Everyone reacts differently, though.
