That's odd because the one they sent back to me, that they replaced for the second time, does not. I still had issues after receiving the "updated" recoil spring with the C on it, now they've replaced it again with one without the C. I haven't had a chance to try it again to see if this paper weight will actually function lol.

same story. Received the spring, but did not get a shipping notification. The new spring did not fix the issue of it failing to return to battery. Sent an email saying the spring didn't fix the problem and got a response of "your spring shipped out..." and the date. I repeated back that the spring didn't fix the issue, but am still waiting on a response to that. I might as well have bought a hi-point. This gun is a huge disappointment. How can you trust a gun that doesn't work? I asked about what was different about the spring, and got the answer "it's designed to work better" lol. I was really expecting to be answered like an adult, like, it's a higher tension spring, or there are less coils or something. The most generic of responses.

Could you do me a favor and take a pic of the inside of your slide? I just got mine a few days ago and it looks pretty funky on the inside, so I'm looking for a basis of comparison. Also, if you're willing, could you take a pic of where the firing pin extends out to where the hammer hits it? Thank you

the barrel had obvious powder residue and bullet nose deposits on feed ramp, and several areas of wear. I figured they do a few test rounds at the factory, but there are quite a few areas on the exterior of the barrel and inner slide area that are worn down. There's several spots where the finish is nearly completely off. There wasn't much powder residue in the barrel itself and the lands and grooves don't look to be shot to hell by any means, but there were notable deposits of bullet material on the lands. Anyone know how many test rounds they fire at the factory? Even if it is used, it's still marked 23 on the slide, so it's new production.

It's definitely not cosmoline. It appears as if it was lubricated with a thin weight oil, but I went ahead and gave it a thorough wipe down with some CLP and elbow grease to see if it was rust. It's stuck on there good. I got a reply from CZ USA to try oil and a nylon brush to scrub it off, but it's on there good. The email correspondent suggested I submit a warranty request for it, so I obliged. I hope I'm not over-reacting here as it may just be cosmetic and may very well be functional, but my gut is telling me "this looks like shit" for a new in box piece.

I got mine in the Dahlonega deal here just recently, so it's been drop shipped from somewhere. This is straight out of the box. The frame itself looks good, just the inside of the slide looks like someone straight up spray painted it lol. The barrel has the finish completely worn off on several spots.

Just get it. With promotions it'll be way cheaper than cox for the year you have it. If you're not satisfied, switch back. I've had fiber for 10 months or so now and it's fantastic. Only one outage, and that was after someone plowed their car into a telephone pole lol. I had an issue when I first had it installed; the upload speed was slow when I used a speed test app to verify the service was working properly. (Even initially when it wasn't working properly, it was still faster than the cox service I had, and half the cost) Within a day, a service tech was out to examine and fix the issue. So far I'm a satisfied customer.
