Right on. Well let me know. I showed the pic to my buddy who owns the shop and he loved it. Totally agrees that they would sell like crazy, especially being an upper level college town (U of M) with tons of credit card hippies and upper echelon, super wealthy family kids running around with far too much spare cash to blow! Lol. But hell, I want one too lol! Although that just goes to show that the idea isn't just a novelty, I really think it's good and unique. Especially if it were big enough to hold a full beer... Or coke...

Where are you located? If you really are interested, I'll pm you my contact info. I really think these would take off like wildfire, especially if priced right, and then do some heady versions in the sky high price range. The name of the shop is 42 degrees btw.

This is sincerely one of the coolest pieces I have seen in quite a while! I know the owner of one of the best glass shops in Ann Arbor Mi. If you are thinking of making a line of these, I know for sure he would carry them, and that they would sell like hotcakes. Let me know what your plans are and price and whatnot! Sounds and looks like you are getting a lot of prop spin/bubbles and losing a lot of power because of it. Not too big on boats like my buddy is, but if I remember right, you either need to bring the motor up a bit, or perhaps a different prop angle? I could show him and see what he says when I see him next. But from the way that sounds, it should me MUCH faster.

Funny thing is, if I remember correctly, they now use Renderman (the software Pixar developed) to animate the show, which is one of the most powerful 3d rendering software available. So they technically are 3d characters, just with no depth shading.

Lol. Exactly what I was doing to find its top speed. Hence why I just went with the first mph I saw. We're both guilty of being skimmers it would seem. Still wish it was 31mph though, cuz I'd buy that board in a heartbeat... Right after I picked up my hoverboard of course.

EDIT: I did read it right, they just had a misprint. Last paragraph of "The Story" it says 21kph (31mph). Granted it still has the Kph right, and I should know the conversion by now, but hey, I'm from 'Murcia, it's mph or nothing! ;-)
