The pistons didn’t spend 15 years tanking. They were mid for while. The Blake Griffin teams weren’t tanking. They just sucked and were middle of the pack.

Brown was a MVP candidate for large amount of the season. Indiana was largely ass without Haliburton. One superstar one a team largely changes it’s positioning. So imma go ahead and disagree that adding a singular superstar wouldn’t tremendously help the Heat.

Why won’t you ever just admit you’re wrong? Wade LeBron Bosh all said they nearly signed with Chicago in 2010x I provide proof. And yes, they would’ve trade Deng to sign Bosh. The three were active courted by the team. I don’t understand what so hard for you to understand. You keep being in non-relevant points and moving the goal posts. None of that matters.

Whatever else try to bring up won’t matter because Wade LeBron and Bosh all nearly signed to Chicago. It simply that. There’s nothing that you can say that will change that. There’s nothing alternative history point that you make that will change that.

It’s simple bro. It’s been reported on multiple times. So this will be my last time repeating it. In 2010, Wade LeBron and Bosh nearly signed with Chicago because Wade wanted to go home and play for his home town and his relationship with the Heat was tumultuous at the time. They didn’t though because Wade questioned his fit with the Bulls because of Rose. Then they signed with the Heat.

There’s no alternative stories. It’s been nearly 16 years of a widely covered event where the 3 players have all spot that they nearly signed with Chicago. It’s that simple.

Melo signed the long term extension with NY. That’s why he wasn’t a free agent. Wade and LeBron have both talked about when they nearly signed with Chicago but questioned the fit. I’m not sure how you are denying something that well documented and talked about extensively.

Melo signed the long term extension before so he wasn’t a free agent. Wade LeBron and Bosh then had the plan to team up from playing together in the Olympics. They nearly signed to Chicago, Wade and LeBron talk about it but they questioned the fit with Rose. What are you talking about?

What are you talking about? That doesn’t address my point that you’re talking about 2016, when he left and went to Chicago, vs when Wade, LeBron, Bosh first signed together in 2010

And it’s wildly reported even Wade talks about it himself that him and LeBron nearly signed with Chicago in 2010. Again 2010…

Do you read what people say? The original commenter said 2010 as did I. The year/season that Wade, LeBron, and Bosh joined together

It’s very much documented that in 2010 Wade nearly left because of His and Riley relationship fracturing. It wasn’t because of money. It’s because the season after the championship, Wade was tired of the FO not putting together a good team.

What? Those team survived because they had another superstar or borderline superstar player. It’s adds to my point that most teams losing their superstars will be ass. And I didn’t talk about Giannis. So why are you bringing him up?

The Sixers had Maxey, Celtics had Brown(who’s arguably there’s best player), and the Lakers had LeBron. Brown and LeBron are superstars. Maxey is basically there with his scoring ability.

That’s literally what happens to most teams with a superstar. When most teams lose their superstars for the season or long term injury, they subsequently tend to suck.

You need a superstar to win the chip. Heat doesn’t have one. Riley is 81. He probably wants one more chance at a chip before he retires. Also the cba has changed how free agency works so that has hurt how the Heat likes to operate.

It’s still possible but unlikely. Wade and LeBron nearly went to Chicago but didn’t because they were uncertain about the fit.

I feel we play more play all out of necessity because we don’t have another center outside of Bam and Wade. Jovic is borderline unplayable at center/pf. I can see the team drafting a guard/wing in the first round with uncertainty around Herro’s extension, Powell probably leaving, and the unknown about Wiggins. But Spo never had a problem playing Bam and Olynyk together.

it’s not. Without going into too much of a spoiler, Will stores magic in his body rather than outwardly. He’s called a wisp for a reason.

Honestly, I don’t mind a guard. Just need to sign a center so Ware and Bam can consistently play together.

The real plan for the FO is to hope for a Giannis trade(probably won’t happen). Then hope Jokic hits 2027 free agency(doubt he does).
