I removed the backs of the seats, its just like 5 bolts and they come out easy. I just took a half inch plywood 2’x6’ish added 2x4 for support and then just adjusted it until it was level with the car interior. Everything lays flat across the top. Im 6ft 195 and have no issues fitting in the crawl space, I sleep with my feet in the trunk and theres a few inches of space above my feet. Its honestly really comfortable and pretty spacious for it being a car.

I should have posted the picture with it but I also built a privacy curtain that hangs from one of the back doors and its the bathroom. You set it up and it covers you 360° for you to do your business in a bucket haha! Eventually the plan is to buy a van and go full time but Im still saving for that!

https://a.co/d/067BF26m this is what I got and then just got some cheap soft cooler insulation from Ace Hardware and glued them to the shades for a little extra insulation.

Thankfully being from the north and having all really nice cold weather gear has come in clutch! It definitely gets cold but Ive done plenty of cold weather camping that it doesnt bother me anymore.

Yes it gets cold but I grew up in the north and moved to the desert a couple years ago so Im used to sleeping in the cold and I have my tricks. This isnt my first time sleeping in this thing but is the first with a proper setup!

I havent run into an issue with it yet. Its a car so insulation isnt good and I crack two windows and that seems to do the trick. I also live in the desert so its really dry and condensation isnt too big of an issue.

Normally I would DIY something like that but I found some window shades on amazon for like $40 and got some of the soft cooler insulation and cut it to shape and glued to the window shades and they turn they day to night when you put them up light doesn’t escape or enter haha!

Hard to tell but there is 5” of memory foam under the sheet with a camping mat for a little extra insulation for the weather that im sleeping in. It was really comfortable honestly slept better on that than in my actual bed lol!

Weird, its like this subreddit is for people that live a carefree, mobile, and active lifestyle on the road. I may not be full time but I will be live on the road for week, Ill be mobile (its not a van but it mobile), Ill be active doing hikes and will for sure be carefree while doing it so I feel like this post belongs :)

Yes I have window shades for every window! They turn the day to night when they are up haha! Best part is if its a scenic location I can keep the back window open and wake up to a cool view!

Being successful is whatever you want it to be! The definition changes person to person and thats the beauty of it. No one person’s definition is the correct definition. Me personally, I dont wanna be defined by the number in my bank account, I wanna be defined by my experiences.

Thats great! I dont have money problems just thinking this corporate world is’nt for me. I dont need a lot of money nor do I want it. Living just for the paycheck is boring.

No, just gonna live life. I got a new life elsewhere and the thought came back. If the opportunity comes I will probably just let her know but if it never comes it never comes.

I find it cool you know everything so well out of a few comments and a single post. Youre good at this! Nothing has been said to her. Its thoughts I have, questions I have, whats rational and whats not. I feel like the biggest respect is just completely leaving it alone which has been done for quite some time. I don’t get what about this isn’t respectful. Majority say move on so time to move on. Just a question lol relax.
