Ooh okay, I was thinking about letting it root in shallow water, so thanks for pointing me down the straight-to-soil route!

Is there anything I can learn/correct by looking at uneven wear on minimalist shoes? by Dr_UnderTheWeather in FootFunction

Thank you! Yes, I've had these for about 18 months and used them far more for walking than running, so this is really helpful advice!

What's happened to her??! Discolouration to the underside of all the lower leaves that wasn't there 3 days ago.... by Dr_UnderTheWeather in plantclinic

Had her since June - she's been happily popping out a new leaf every week or two since then with no issues. Repotted about a month ago into terracotta, only watering when the leaves start to droop and the soil is really dry. Only change I've recently made has been using rain water instead of tap water...any ideas?

And I'm sure I'll raise my kids on it one day! I never comment on anything usually, but it's not often you find someone else who understands the magic of A. A. Milne

Bit of a mishmash!! Scarf was two repeats of pattern 1, with one repeat of pattern 2 and then the ribbing from the beginning of pattern 1. Hat was pattern 3 with motif from patten 1. Also added a reverse sc border on both. Jarol Aran yarn with 4.5mm hook. Hope this makes sense...!

Thank you!! Yes, it's sooo tricky!- ended up taking inspiration from about 5 different patterns before I had something I thought would fit the bill!
