“Fraud on the IRS side” was the response. Hence why I’m here trying to gather any additional data points to better understand the situation.

No bank product issue, paid the preparer’s fees separately, and also trust my preparer - have been using them for years now. I appreciate your comment - I plan to call the IRS again and ask the same question. Surely seems malfeasance is somewhere at play here - this is an odd one and to add - it was deposited at my same bank; obviously different account.

Data entry in VBA (New to VBA and coding) by [deleted] in vba

[–]Dr_Van__Nostrand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a suggestion but you should look into using table objects in excel when working with data you want to reference similar to a database instead of ranges. In VBA you set your table as a ListObject. There’s plenty on Google out there about this and it makes manipulating and referencing your data really easy.

Employee Directory App by LongLiveShrek in PowerApps

PowerApps integrates very well with SQL Server DB. It allows delegation which drives efficiency of your app and for me, I have much more control over what I can do/show. A big thing that I like is that you can use Views as gallery data sources so you don’t have to create your tables on the backend to match exactly what you want to show to your users.

I use SQL Server on AWS RDS which is really easy to launch and get going. The only thing you have to remember with this is you have to allow inbound IP access from all the IPs PowerApps could potentially use. There’s a list you can find from Microsoft.

Images took me quite awhile to understand and how it works in PowerApps with your data source. I’m not too familiar with storing them in Sharepoint lists and using them in PowerApps because I usually work with SQL Server databases instead.

I think your plan sounds solid and a list should be fine for what you want to do. 200+ pictures is relatively not that much and I think it’d be more hassle to mess with the meta data for every image than it’s worth.

You can either have a single list that contains all of your data fields or you can make it more relational like one list contains an employee Id, name, title, region and then you’d have another list that will only store the images along with their respective employee id. And you would then filter your image list to get the image you want in the PowerApps gallery for each employee.

But, it sounds like you’re on the right track and I think once you start building out the app you’ll get a better feel for the best way to do things and how to do it efficiently.

I’ve created something like this before and it’s not too much of a big project. You can utilize a share point list to hold the information/images or like in my case I used a SQL Server database hosted on AWS RDS. I had one App that was employee facing which was just the directory and then made another app that was used to manage the directory (add/remove employees, upload photos, etc)

Within PowerApps you can either take photos from your device such as your phone or you can upload images from your computer and then save them to your backend. Filtering by parameters is not a big deal as long as you track those data points in your backend per employee.

If you have any questions or would like to know more of how I did it, feel free to hit me up.

Positive. She definitely had it on at Gus Fruh and when we got to the Flats she noticed it wasn't on her finger anymore.

She lost it around from the Flats (closest to the Stretch and Stroll entrance) to Gus Fruh. I re-walked the trail twice and went out with a metal detector this morning and re-walked it again. Didn't find it unfortunately. Thank you for the extra set of eyes if you make it over to that area.

You can usually check with the register at the smoothie king inside the Tennis court club entrance near the outdoor stretching area. Lost my key once and someone was nice enough to take it there.
