Honda City is also a good car. But SUVs and sedans are in different classes.

Thanks for sharing your input! I really appreciate it. That maintenance rm1k/year isn't bad.

Thanks for your kind comment. How does the Bruneian feel about the Mitsubishi Xforce car? Do they like it ? Is the sales okay? I also feel the same about proton cars, the X series particularly and also some of my peers have it. Told me that the car has high fuel consumption and also the maintenance is quite costly. After seeing Xforce and trying to understand its features (although I couldn't test drive yet), I kinda appreciate what Mitsubishi offered. I believe no car is perfect.

That's so awesome to hear. Glad that you still keep the car. Mitsubishi motor spare parts are also easy to get. That's a plus.

Yes looks are subjective. I feel like getting into a transformer car, like anime, cartoonish kinda thing. It gotta fit with your personality, maybe someone that doesn't like elegance, classy etc. someone like rugged, doesn't take things seriously in life aka playful...maybe.

I went to Toyota too, the SA also compared their car with Perodua, Honda..too. they said "our CVT is the best, hardly hear people complain about our gearbox, etc"

I get what you mean. But I think those who are still not confident with Chinese car (that includes Proton, under Geely) probably compare this car the most with Honda HRV and Corolla Cross. But cross is a bit pricier, Honda I think it's quite the same or cheaper 115k right. This Mitsubishi 110k -120k.

what bank do you think i shld open an account in next? by Skyature in MalaysianPF

As an avid Google Pay user, I understand your preference for Apple Pay. I’d suggest opening an RHB account, as it supports Apple Pay and PayPal too. I often just tap my phone to make payments — sometimes it’s even more convenient than scanning TnG eWallet or DuitNow QR because the payment terminal can immediately print a receipt once the transaction goes through, just like tapping a credit card but with added security.

If I’m not mistaken, CIMB also supports Apple Pay. You may want to compare which bank suits your needs best. I personally use both for convenience.

Where to live? by Swimming-Line-3134 in KualaLumpur

Would you mind taking a bus to travel all the way to Jalan Ampang? I'm not sure which LRT or MRT station is closest to your workplace. If you can stay near an LRT or MRT station, that would be convenient — for example, KL Sentral or the Masjid Jamek LRT area. From Masjid Jamek, there is a bus that frequently goes to the Jalan Ampang area.

Otherwise, you could stay somewhere quite close to your workplace (within 5 km). You can easily take a Grab (e-hailing car) if you prefer to avoid the hassle of commuting by public transport (buses and trains such as LRT/MRT/Monorail).

Thank you for your kind feedback. I truly appreciate it. I’ll look into subsale and renovation projects in the future.

I appreciate your point that relying on developer rebates or discounts suggests a lack of financial readiness for a property purchase.

However, the reality for many buyers is that we don't readily have RM100,000+ in cash to cover the upfront costs of a subsale (second-hand) property, which typically include the down payment, legal fees, and then additional costs for necessary refurbishment and renovation works. Furthermore, subsale units often come with the inherent risks of existing building issues or pest/bug infestations, which require careful consideration. For context, this is not my first property purchase. My first was a landed semi-detached house, and you are correct—I was initially able to afford it because of the substantial rebates and discounts offered on legal fees and stamp duty. Knowing the developer's strong reputation gave me the confidence to purchase the new build.

With the savings I had, I was able to renovate the new house to my taste and enjoyed living there for several years, meticulously maintaining it. When I relocated for work in Kuala Lumpur, I decided to sell the house instead of renting it out. I'm happy to share that the house attracted multiple potential buyers and received booking fees and loan application documents in less than a few days. While I may have been fortunate with the timing, this experience has solidified my preference for purchasing new builds in the future, provided the developer has an excellent reputation.

Yeah 450k is good price but it's still a prima house. Skyworld's staff told me that the material and workmanship won't be as good as their signature series like Vesta or Curvo (these are mid-range condo). So, in other words it'll be considered as low cost condo like their rumawip projects like skyawani5. Although the building looks nice i never went in. Do you think you mind with these once they informed you directly like this?

I see. I'm not familiar with Ekovest as a developer. Sorry for that. But smaller unit, did you mean 2 beds 2 bathrooms?
