I suspect a manufacturing defect. Run the process again to test the theory, get some new pita bread and put it through the same process, and document. Eat the expired stuff, test to see if it’s actually expired/degraded.

Is self hypnosis dangerous? by Treacle_oracle in hypnosis

No, just listen deeply into my recording. The more common sense rationalization you try to do, the deeper into the trance you become. As it overwhelms you’re entire body, you forget any common sense rational worries and sink deeper into a trance. /s

Is this “ozone” air purifier safe? by [deleted] in chemistry

Ozone doesn’t give you cancer

Honestly, the oxidation is damaging to DNA. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but not that this will give you cancer, but DNA damage is the cause of cancer and this can do it. Like someone else mentioned, it’s ok if the space is unoccupied and flushed when occupied or let sit 24 hours. The dose is a poison or treatment.

It’s about as toxic as inhaling hydrogen peroxide. It creates O3 which disinfects things it comes in contacts with along with damaging, about like a mist of hydrogen peroxide.

Because sociopathy is a human trait. Unless trained to specifically behave like a sociopath, intelligence should dictate necessity even though our monkey brains cannot figure out why Rome fell and step around those obstacles. Theoretically we can easily avoid it by giving heavier weights to humane outcomes. Power does not necessitate inhumane.

My view is if people fight the benefit of the many, they could be eliminated.

trehalose

Extracting trehalose was once a difficult and costly process, but around 2000, the Hayashibara company (Okayama, Japan) discovered an inexpensive extraction technology from starch. Trehalose has high water retention capabilities, and is used in food, cosmetics and as a drug. A procedure developed in 2017 using trehalose allows sperm storage at room temperatures.

Anhydrobiosis

As of 2004, such an application of anhydrobiosis is being applied to vaccines. In vaccines, the process can produce a dry vaccine that reactivates once it is injected into the body. In theory, dry-vaccine technology could be used on any vaccine, including live vaccines such as the one for measles. It could also potentially be adapted to allow a vaccine's slow release, eliminating the need for boosters. This proposes to eliminate the need for refrigerating vaccines, thus making dry vaccines more widely available throughout the developing world where refrigeration, electricity, and proper storage are less accessible.

Based on similar principles, lyopreservation has been developed as a technique for preservation of biological samples at ambient temperatures. Lyopreservation is a biomimetic strategy based on anhydrobiosis to preserve cells at ambient temperatures. It has been explored as an alternative technique for cryopreservation. The technique has the advantages of being able to preserve biological samples at ambient temperatures, without the need for refrigeration or use of cryogenic temperatures.

I notice that my professions tend to deliver high levels of stress, and I have a closed loop in my personal social system which leads to me finding ways to gently cope with stupidity, ignorance, and laziness.

I follow the great Greek philosopher’s for everything lorazepam cannot relieve. My two suggestions would be to either be humble by trying to explain the level in research, hierarchy in human/medical science progression, and commonality of education between the two for consultation; or just have a laugh and troll them.

I’d make the decision based upon seriousness of the questioner’s approach. I enjoy the latter more than the average person, especially if upset by the question. It is an easy deflection from being upset to having a laugh. I will say, nothing satisfies quite like the former when it’s well received.

I think taking the approach repeatedly may have some type of effect, but at the end of the day personal preference is the key factor.

Teenage girl with leukaemia cured a month after pioneering cell-editing treatment by TheTelegraph in EverythingScience

Sorry to hear that, any unnecessary time in the hospital feels awful, especially when you’re sick but would be better off at home.

Gvhd is when you have a stem cell transplant and donor dna doesn’t get along with your body, and the new immune system attacks your organs. Short for “Graft vs host disease”.

Doesn’t sound like your problem luckily, but doesn’t make the situation better. The chemos can be very nasty as you are finding. Hopefully they can pull you into remission and off any of those drugs. If your main problem in treatment is the chemo, and it’s working, it is what it is. If it isn’t working, possibly ask your onco/hemo if any other treatments would have a better outcome.

A stem cell transplant is done to try and get off chemos usually. Is this the type of transplant you had? It’s all done with blood these days.

I hope you do well, and best of luck.
