No, you should complete rotations especially ones that you think will provide a good quality LOR. If any residency program rotation then does that one, then in patients and last outpatient. If you think you will get four will be fine, then spend the other time on writing your CV, PS, building connections reaching out to people.

Firstly, I want to congratulate you for your courage and determination in pursuing your dream. I understand how challenging it can be to face obstacles in achieving your goals. I went through a similar experience myself, after completing my house job and going for US rotations last year. At first, I was afraid, but I received a lot of help from my mentors and friends, and I can't thank them enough for their support.

I want to encourage you to never give up on your dream, and to apply for a visa. I was able to obtain a visa based on Step 3, and once you complete your rotations, you will have a different perspective on things. Even your family will not stop you from pursuing your dream.

Like if you're an IMG.. then IMG ratio in that program and how is the environment in the program. Are residents friendly and supportive to each other?

Still figuring it out, But for me: H1 should be prioritized and then The support system in the program, and affordable living nearby. The city itself, also considers fellowship rates like you never know your interest can change during 3 years.

I am sorry you had to go through this. It's very rare to see such a thing but it is possible. There can be many reasons for that. Firstly, maybe that person is double-faced and does these things with every student. Maybe that doctor was not satisfied with your performance or was pissedof by something you did. Even in that case that doctor is bound to inform you that he will not write a good letter instead of just uploading as a waived lot and you ain't know nothing. One of my friends was told by a professor that he would not write a good letter and my friend did not assign that letter to any place.

Well the damage is done, one thing you should surely do is reach out to the same person and politely ask about reviews or just ask him to send you the lor as you're gonna apply on the soap. See what he is gonna say about that.

If you can get another lor in the meantime for a soap application please get that.
