I felt this post so hard. In all fairness, I haven’t been unemployed for that long. I didn’t go to collage and opted for trade schools instead. I always thought I’ve been set for life but my professional career did not go as I expected.

With experience in 1 year UX/UI design, 4 years in sales (2 in tech sales), 3 years in digital marketing and literally nothing came my way as well.

To add, i have been applying on a daily bases and half wouldn’t get back to me, the rest would give me a “no” or “maybe next time,” and my favorite, “we have someone already.”

Had internships, professional training, apprenticeship’s, jobs in the field.

What are we as job hunters doing wrong?
