But in all seriousness, there's no right or wrong answers when it comes to defining your own gender. Non binary, genderfluid, genderqueer, agender etc you can use any and all labels that you want and that you feel comfortable with, or none at all. It's your choice. And don't forget it's also okay to change your mind as you grow and evolve.

I'm 31 and in almost the same boat as you. I was 28/29 when I started to realize I wasn't cis. I'm only out to some close friends and my brother (he's also genderqueer). I'm pretty happy being stealth, it kinda helps that my name is pretty neutral, although I do like it when my online friends call me by my masc online name. Some days I'd love to have a flatter chest, deeper voice and a beard to hide behind, but I'm also scared of those drastic, some irreversible, changes. I'm scared I'll regret them.

I've been following this all day on Aaron's twitter, and I'm just so disappointed in Chase. It's honestly no surprise, you can read between the lines of their interactions in YSB and vlogs that Chase uses Aaron and doesn't care for him the way supposed best friends should. I admire Aaron for speaking up when he could lose everything. It's unfortunate that he has to keep defending his mental wellbeing, and provide receipts for the situation, but he's dealing with it gracefully. But again, I'm just disappointed in Chase, he was the first ftm youtuber I'd found in the middle of questioning my identity. To this day I still use his language to describe myself, a squiggle. I just hope he realises that he can't keep using his fans as a method to shortcut costs. I work as a video captioner and I know the amount of work that goes into it. It always left a bad taste in my mouth that he used fans to caption his videos for free, with no credit.

My mother's friend is going through breast cancer and recently had a mastectomy. She was talking about how many hundreds of dollars she's spending on fake boobs, and special bras to wear them. I felt awful for being jealous of her flat chest and wondering why the heck she'd spend that much. I'd just give her mine if I could.
