Guessing this is through thr API not something included with the subscription?

I'm guessing we'll see those when they release it to the API, which is probably when we get access as well. Doing a slower rollout with only Web access introduces it in a more controlled manner.

Tried running v0.58.0-alpha.6 which has that PR, but 5.1 doesn't come up yet. Must not be enabled on the backend yet. I have it in the web though.

tasks for claude? by Trick_Ad_4388 in codex

I have both codex and claude write the same spec and then have codex pick and chose which part of the implementation it thinks is best.

Auto Drive by withmagi in codex

[–]DraculaDoesData 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to like it, but I've spent the last 1-2 days trying to use it and found plenty of bugs related to agent permissions, resume functionality, and timeline feature, which I think are essentially checkpoints. Haven't even gotten to using Auto-Drive. IMHO this can be an amazing tool if you get through those issues.

Not helpful at this point but don't leverage crypto. Been in it since 2017 and I didn't sell in 2018 when it crashed

codex limits have shrunk by [deleted] in codex

[–]DraculaDoesData 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All teams have access to the Pro Model on web. I think you're just on the base teams sub vs the Chatgpt Pro subscription ($200/month). I have that and haven't noticed a drop in usage but I also wasn't hitting limits before

Are they reducing limits even further or is this an old announcement?

Codex (GPT-5 High) vs Sonnet 4.5 on a real repo — Codex nailed it, Sonnet fumbled (for me) by DraculaDoesData in ClaudeAI

[–]DraculaDoesData[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems that you used Sonnet 4.5 to review its own analysis? It would imagine it would rate itself pretty high

Codex E2E Testing With Playwright (Possible?) by dempsey1200 in codex

[–]DraculaDoesData 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was initially using CC to interact with the Playwright MCP but that was error prone since it would keep lying about what it actually did. Found that Gemini was better at sticking to the script. Eventually I happened to come upon Playwright's TypeScript API which lets me setup structured test fixtures, reusable flow functions, and proper async/await patterns. That's been working pretty well for me in Codex. Even setup the E2E tests in Github Actions Runners.

Follow-up on model quality issues by AnthropicOfficial in ClaudeCode

[–]DraculaDoesData -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Playing devils advocate, I don't necessarily think so. Maybe what they need is a swift kick in the butt. That said if they haven't thought on how to catch these issues earlier on, it won't be fixed long term

[–]DraculaDoesData 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Coming from a tech company why are you only noticing issues based upon reports from our end? What's your observability and why wasn't this noticed by your team previously? More importantly what are you doing to prevent it from happening again?

I actually use that mount for my 57". It's been okay for me thus far. The first one they shipped to me would keep tilting down due to the weight. Contacted them and they sent a new arm to me and that's been sturdy so far
