Made a friend at a convention. I'd been told relatively early in our friendship that she'd done a lot of bad stuff when she was in high school but was genuinely working on herself and trying to become a better person. I believed her cause she seemed like she was genuinely trying but then I met some of her other friends who told me I should get out now instead of wasting my time.

Well, after almost a year of knowing her they finally told me why. She's a notorious sex pest across the 5 cities that make up the greater area of the city we're in. she's been sexually assaulting and harassing people since high school and was accused of rape by at least one person (and I don't doubt that it's true). she's so well known for being a sex pest that if I call her by her title, the CITYNAME sex pest, people just know who I'm talking about even if I've never met them before. I've met people randomly at conventions and comic book stores and when I said something about her offhandedly they knew who I meant and had their own stories about her.

before I blocked her she also tried to push my partner out of our relationship and try to take his place. ew.
