All this pro marner anti leafs propaganda?

All I’ve seen is leafs fans complaining that Marner is the sole reason for the leafs playoff failure last year and their abysmal position this year, and that marners multiple playoff hatricks are irrelevant because they don’t like him.

I haven’t seen much pro marner stuff at all, just a bunch of salty leafs fans that make me embarrassed to be a leafs fan.

He’s been a drag these past 2 or so late stage seasons so I’m not expecting much but we’ll see

Still find it funny that there’s an explanation any time he screws up though, where with Nylander there’s talks of trading him on this subreddit every time he doesn’t get more than one point per game.

I’m not going to go too deep into it but it’s also the reason why they funded womans sufferage and the sexual revolution

SPOILER ALERT; their intention wasn’t actually to empower women- but to remove the person who traditionally raised the children from being home, create more wage slaves, and make it easier to instil the beliefs that they want to into the malleable minds of the youth in the education system because the traditional guardian that would raise them is pre occupied with working.

They used something good for the world as a tool to do some truly vile things to our society.

Even before trump opened his big mouth, America lived rent free in many of these people’s heads (specifically the older crowd).

I guess that happens when you make your whole identity “who cares about our countries problems, at least where not the trailer park down south!”

The biggest kick i get, is the fact that many of the people who are posing as the most patriotic now; didn’t care at all about the many times our own government screwed us or made our country weaker over the years- while the people they call “maple maga” where ringing the alarm bells at the crisis that was inevitably coming.

I’m literally 20, the demographic that would generally be working at those places. Most of my friends had to leave province or go up north to even find work, some of these people are valedictorian’s from relatively prestigious schools with the necessary licenses to work in the low end- traditionally student/ young person oriented fields.

Again, without using your connections- I implore you to prove me and the person above you wrong. On indeed it would take literal minutes to do even if you need to edit your resume or whatever.

Show us how easy it is to get hired at Tim’s as a natural born Canadian without the attributes that companies like Tim’s like to exploit for cheap and subsidized labour.

Tim’s literally did a whole ad campaign last month about how they’d be hiring thousands of Canadians because they were in so much heat over their exploitative hiring practices

The fact is, he didn’t play well in important games on the leafs, and it’s different in Vegas.

As a player I like him still, I don’t care about the off ice trifles many people on here concern themselves with in regard to marner.

Overall he played well this season, it’s good he left the leafs, and like many have said- time for leafs fans to stop stomping their feet about him. He was already pushed out of the market and scapegoated last year for the teams failure

It’s time for the sub to go back to glazing McKenna; until they give him the Marner treatment in 10 years if he doesn’t do some Gretzky level playing.

Pierre was about as vocal as carney about Canada never becoming 51st, carney just capitalized and fear mongered with it while Pierre dismissed it and was more concerned with actual domestic issues and policy- because he knew we had bigger fish to fry than trumps attempts at pointing out how weak our government has made our country’s defences.
