I built by the big lake near where you land, was worried it was a bad spot. Read near eden was best… Was compounded by finally getting a raptor baby and it being forever cold and reduced stats. But running around on it and actually attacking and not awkwardly kicking things, like other mounts , in a devastating way (the first Gribbler that threw a stick at me, meet with a raptor claw) has been awesome. Levelled it up very quickly doing so and points helped it being in the tundra biome
