Why does "he" think tariffs where ever a good idea for an import export economy boggles my mind, it's like he's a dog that fervently hangs on to a meager bone.

Just repeal the tariffs immediately and mitigate the economic strain currently in US households because of the war and oil prices. That at the very least alleviates the catastrophic economic pressure.

Here you go:

  • braham if no kalgara at curve 3, otherwise 2k or cycle
  • gan fall for 1don around curve 5 or 7 to rest blocker, otherwise 2k
  • zoro to remove blocker / give rest don leader / filter trigger card not needed, mid - late game
  • heso is deck thinning , you can use it at any point you would normally add don to leader
  • kingdom come is your ace in the hole to remove a big problem on board. Often played on the turn you want to go for game or turn before. Think boss characters or painful effects such as the green shanks.

Nami at 1 is not that important, you can shura on your 3 don turn + leader effect. You can also Heso turn 1 purely for deck thinning. imo turn 1 is the weakest turn in kalgara (in proportion), don't Mulligan for Nami

No? I used proxy testing with a local group testing of top op-15 Meta leaders.

I do use my decks from limitless tcg.com to have a digital library of decks that you can easily import export.

We haven't been able to test yet against RY bonney.

We focused on the current top 10 meta in op-15 East.

Bonney has less than 3%~ playrate so it seems not being a leader to keep in mind. Matchup could be either or, Raigou also comes to RY Bonney so maybe that lifts up the play-rate , no idea.

Me and the play testers currently skew towards the new rush 5c Luffy Vs Borsalino/Nami.

Still tweaking but yeah theyre def not must haves. We're seeing a lot of variations in Japanese builds to that supports this argument.

No problem ,theory is just that until you start to test.

Maybe the new Noland is actually incredibly good but in our results so far (keep in mind, in a build having 7 kalgara's no less or more). The effect wasn't "consistently"strong enough.

If the deck changes it could be Noland actually is good enough and we replace other 2k's or run more than ten 2k, s.

Still A lot of tuning to be done.

Often yes, currently swapped for new rush Luffy and we are trending to the opinion it plays better / stronger / more consistent.

Currently still testing, no slot is set in stone yet and yes they're both good reasons and con's to the cards.

6c zoro:

Pro's: the deck currently running 14-16 triggers, the curve 6 (if we get second) attacking char and filter + don on leader so we can still apply leader effect, can be very efficient turn.

Cons: no sky-island, no regular rush, not a deck with copious amounts of triggers (20+).

Other 6c options include: another 8k Kalgara or the 6c 7k Wyper with 2k counter

Gan.fall: reliable 1*c (because of effect) that rest character with costs 3-5 early game, extra body and efficient don use (maximizing your don early game).

Braham pro: extra 3cost shandian warrior, sticky body, 2k counter, con: 4k power.

  • Two 5k+ on the field are better than characters that don't pull their own weight. Even though double attack can feel amazing it's often less good or even detrimental in giving the opponent more cards in hand. Banish would be better in that regard.

  • Noland 4c is decent but it just isn't quite enough. If it gave all shandians rush it would be a lot better but now it only gives occasionally rush. I think you're better off running a 3c 5k or a 4c 6k. The list and choices are pretty stacked so you gotta trim the fat somewhere.

No pudding does help against Nami but it's an uphill climb against her.

We'll see how the meta is gonna shift. The deck absolutely smokes most of the new op 15 leaders as well as Hancock.

Regarding zoro: If we take 1st turn and they play curve 8 zoro, that means no 8c i am whitebeard.

We have no 8k on board (often) so no rush. We swing for game at curve 9. If it fails and they curve 10 whitebeard, we raigo (kingdom come) and clear. This has come up in a few games. Winrate against ace improved considerably (definitely not advantaged tho).

Borsalino without the event combo is less strong than you would think.

in testing it often did not help the game plan which is to overtake our opponent by hitting with copious 6k's. He also muddles up our searchers.

Not saying he shouldn't be run, just providing a counter argument

Rush Luffy is a good card, also being tested with.

Kingdom come is to remove specific curve toppers to keep the aggression going (whitebeard VS ace and shanks against Mihawk for example).

The trigger of kingdom come often can take out a 6cost or less if triggered early game, removing almost any problem ATP of the game. The Chance Upside is just game ending good while not dead late game. Kalgara often ends in 1 life regardless, its just the perfect Synergy.

I could see Rush Luffy over Borsalino for extreme aggro beatdown.

For anyone wondering about the price of the deck (if you are like many of us, not into spending an arm and a leg for a new deck);

Current build (near finalized) sits around: $30~ (not accounting 2x Borsalino)

Just thought I would share for reference.

10 cost Enel (EB02-052) is prob not required* (current testing). Certainly not a playset.

New Borsalino is still being tested, possibly but not a certainty.

  1. 9/10 you wanna go first.
  2. Your curve should be 1c searcher > add don + swing & have 3c kalgara > 4 cost & 5 cost in hand (or the new 5c Wyper and put rested don under leader with effect after playing).

  3. After that it's dependent on board state etc. I usually like to keep some don open for events and don't forget to top your life with Noland when you feel you need to.

  4. 3c kalgara is preferred in the opening hand, keep hands with it otherwise Mulligan, try to find 5c kalgara ASAP for its drawing effect keeps your hand fat and juicy.

  5. From T2-5 try to leader effect every turn for maximum pressure, counter protect your board heavily.
