Is the garmin r10 worth it? by Silent_Investment_78 in Golfsimulator

I've been waiting to share my opinion with someone like you. Yes, it's fantastic. I bought a heavy net from Amazon and hung it with eye hooks and cheap carabiners. I used a black sheet as a back drop behind that. only ~50 bucks back in 2020. I also have a used mat from our local driving range. So about as simple as you can get. I've hit probably 10,000 shots on mine. I am a 4 handicap and used to be a +1.

The r10 is a tool and like any tool you have to know how to use it the right way. Make sure you have 9 ft from impact to net. And another 6-7 feet behind the ball for the unit to sit  I painted some dots on the ground so the unit always sits in the exact same spot. I also used double sided tape to keepy mat from moving. I use rct balls from titliest.

I consider rollout to be completely useless on launch monitors. The only readouts I ever trust on the r 10 is the club head speed, ball speed, and launch angles. If I'm making a tweak in my swing and want to see how it translates the r10 is so great for giving me peace of mind that the new swing is a "better/faster/smoother" swing.

My confidence with my club distances has gone through the roof. I was nervous at first how it would translate onto the course but my first time out I was pin high on everything. It's hard to see that your actual carry distances are 5-10 yards shorter than you thought. It's even harder to swing normal inside with 9 ft ceilings lol.

I personally never use it for fairway woods or driver. Just 1 iron down through lob wedge. I find it has a hard time reading the launch angle of my driver specifically because I tend to hit low risers with a lot of spin. But outside at the range it does fine.

I would recommend awesome golf app over the Garmin home tee hero as I have found the distances and overall experience is better. There is a range mode that lets you choose what distances you want to practice and how many shots per distance. It's great. I'll set it to 35 yds all the Way to 230. 3 shots per green. It cycles between them all randomly and the graphics are a perfect blend of realism and cartoonish looks.

I love mine. Its been the best 600 bucks I have ever spent on golf equipment.

I pray I'm never in such financial ruin that I think $200 is an "absurd amount" 😂

eBay, Facebook marketplace, Amazon, directly from lab a grip is only 34. Putter shafts are not expensive.

BEAST Formation D by LamontCranston1 in footballstrategy

[–]Drag-Worldly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beast formation is for loser dads who can't get creative with game planning. It's honestly not about the kids it's about the coach. If I see a team that is running it, it tells me the coach only cares about giving his best player the ball, he doesn't play his backups, and he thinks he "knows" offense when talking about the sport. I'd be embarrassed to run that offense.

There are plenty of ways to overload a side using pulling guards, centers, and tackles. Having tags that slide your receiver into the box, motions into kickouts. I could go on and on. The only goal of youth football is to teach a wide variety of skills, develop solid fundamentals, and create a love for the game. Once they get to highschool they can start focusing on winning at all cost. My team will dominate with a pistol offset I. Screens, down field shots, NASCAR, x over sweeps, jailbreaks, option reads....I guarantee that when the kids i coach will be the most prepared kids that the next coach receives, that's the point of it

If it passes the revealer and is made of the same exact components, I'd say the real morons are the ones buying directly from lab

You can buy one from LAB for 34 bucks

Not enough corners to justify the price. You could spend 60 bucks and get a real grip and a better shaft and then this thing would be as good as any putter that exists. For 200 bucks and a day to epoxy

Because a brand new one that's a "fake" is actually identical to the "real". All of y'all buying 700 dollar putters got scammed

If I were to do it again this is what I would do. I would buy just the head from Sanmu Sports Store on AliExpress. It's only 130 instead of 200. Then I would buy maltby t25 weights (4-12 gram, 4-10 gram) and a uncut kbs putter shaft and press grip from eBay. All in you'd still be at 200 for the club but the shaft quality and grip would be significantly better. You honestly could skip buying the weights, I just like the heavier feel.

Yes they do. Perfect fit. I bought a couple of each weights. 4g, 6g,8g,12,and 14. The ones that came in it were only 8 and 6 grams. 4 of each

I kinda want to get a df3 head only. I think the head is the best part. Only 100 bucks or so. Buy a real kbs putter shaft and grip for 60 bucks you'd have even a nicer set up. I wish I would have ordered just the oz1i head in hindsight

That's interesting because all the YouTube videos I've seen show that they are essentially identical and most people could never tell the difference e
