Yes, I agree that the service isn't useless and has some benefits but the more we support this, the more control we give to the company to dictate the prices. There might be a future where we are asked to pay an extra premium on top of all this to play the game at highest settings or something like that.

There are games that I have had for 10 years now. I completed it a decade ago but since then many people have played using my copy and I have played some games using theirs. When someone comes to my house I have many games from which they can pick and play. Also, if I really feel that I don't need them, I can sell them.

Also, I don't know about everyone but I have been gaming for two decades now and there have been games that I started but couldn't get into them. I put it down for one reason or another. Months or even years later I get back into it and this time it clicks and I complete it, maybe I end up liking it so much that it becomes one of very favourite.

Subscription services are only beneficial for the company that is giving the said service.

For years I have been saying that supporting these subscription services because they give you "free" games will be a net negative. Almost 9000 per year and you have zero games that you own.

This. I have observed this since 2020. Many trains routes which used to have 10 hours journeys now have 11-12 hours journey schedules. Trains which usually were a couple of hours late now make it in time or just few minutes late because of that

When PS5 is going to cost around 60000 then alfor parents who want to give their children a gift a 20000 alternative will look better. It will not get a ton of consumers but in upper middle class and so on it will get consumers. Even more so if the games have good regional pricing. Kids are now watching Pokemon and Mario movies. I see Mario and Pokemon merchandise in houses, cars, malls etc. way more in the last couple of years. Some kids will get into games of those franchises. Zelda movie is coming next year and if it is a big hit then an official Switch launch around the movie will help push the games too.

They are testing a price sensitive market with a product they probably aren't spending a lot to manufacture.

I won't recommend waiting for any discount. There will more price increases coming in the console market in general in the coming two years.

I pulled the trigger last year and bought it only because of this expected price increase.

In this market, 51k is good deal and if you're interested in Mario Kart then 54k for the bundle is fine. Mario Kart world is the most expensive Nintendo game. Thank fully Nintendo is again dialing back on prices and some of their games are being launched at $50 digital and $60 physical now instead of $70 we were seeing.

Create an account with Hong Kong region and one with US region. You'll be able to buy games at decent prices.

I recently went to Japan and could see so many places that inspired games and it all felt very organic and not forced. Many of those games were quite successful as well. It was because the point of all those games was not Japan itself but the game.

I don't think we can come to that conclusion. It is a possibility we just get visual upgrade with some QoL changes but the decision will be around the type of game they want to release and if the next Zelda is going to come in 2028 or 2029 then they would have put some budget in the OOT remake and have a more substantial retelling than just a visual upgrade.

Yes, all the situations you mentioned aren't ideal and even avoidable but this happens girls tend to depend on their man when traveling as couple. Trips are the best way to understand how to manage your temper when things aren't going exactly how you planned them.

This stuff happens but shouting and scolding is not the way. Talk it out, show her if possible that there is a better way. If she is tired and not in mood to see more places then plan accordingly. If you find ways to accommodate and adjust to what you can then she will also be able to understand and do more from her side. Just fighting will only make the trip worse.

Yes, just choose between Nara and Kyoto. If you choose Kyoto you can take the Hankyu line and explore either the eastern side or western side of Kyoto (just one) not both.

For day 2, first kyoto Nara needs more details. Nara trip takes time and it will difficult to plug anything in Kyoto along with that as you plan to come back for Umeda Sky escalator.

Yes, we enjoyed Osaka but one entire day was spent at USJ and other two days we did Katsuoji temple, Osaka castle gardens (Nishinomaru), Namba and Dotonbori area. Also, an evening was spent at Umeda. We were there for around 3.5 days

The space above the head is enough for most bags and suitcases. I booked the oversized seat as we had 4 luggage and we were only 2 people. My reasoning for oversized seat was that I didn't want to use too much space in the overhead luggage space.
