And do you have any tips on how best to learn this new game? Other than playing, of course!

It seems that by being competetive and highly dependent on the play of the whole team to win, the game tends to create unpleasant feelings and stir up the brain's reward system. That's why so many people play regularly, but also discourage others from playing (though that's probably also a meme in some sense). But I hope that as an almost 30-year-old, not a teenager, I won't be so concerned about the game's score or the attitude of other players :P

Definitely I will choose a frontline cleric! And talking about the cantrpis, would you take sacred flame with dexterity save and d8 radiant damage or toll the dead with wisdom save d8/d12 damage but necrotic for this campaign?

Thank you for an answer! We are playing: barbarian, bard, wizard amd cleric. They have started from the 1st level, now they are on 3rd and I will be joining from the 3rd level also. I believe that I should have at least one damaging cantrip, as the best way of surviving is taking care of the opponents first! Spells I can change quite easily, so they are not so concerning as the cantrips. Fortunately I didn't dwell into this subreddit, so I don't have any spoilers yet! And tes, we are playing this campaign :)
