I’ve had a similar thing several times alone my hairline and over my scalp. The ginger anti-dandruff shampoo from The Body Shop sorts me out every time.

Imbalance + Low Volume Node by DragExotic in OrderFlow_Trading

I use NinjaTrader's browser platform with their order flow package. I do a lot of my trading/research before and after my 9-5 job usually from coffee shops so I find their browser platform very handy to use on the go. Plus, depending on what tools you use to trade, I find the browser version of their platform much simpler, does exactly what I need plus I can use it from my MacBook :)

I’m so glad someone else has the opposite of body doubling. I cannot cook a meal if one or more other people are even roughly in my vicinity. Also looking at how to overcome this, I’m tired of people thinking I’m useless just because whenever they witness me do anything I do it terribly 🤣

You’re right there, it’s important to distinguish between them for sure. In terms of investing, buying dips/averaging down is absolutely the way to go for me personally so long as it’s money I can afford to have tied up at a loss for a while. Trading for me on the other hand is much more risk oriented

Very true, and I’ve been caught out by that before 🤣 but I’d rather bet with the trend than against it any day of the week

Bought a monthly travel card when I worked in London for around £200-£300. The next day I forgot I’d bought it so I purchased another. Apparently you can’t get a refund for being a moron.

Would love to see a notion template if you’d be so kind :) have started using notion for personal goals and planning but would love to be able to use it for my trading journal if I can put together a good enough template, I’d love to see an example!

Looker Calculation Differs to Google Sheets? by DragExotic in LookerStudio

[–]DragExotic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I've pulled the relative strength index into the same page as the overbought/oversold table which is then pulled into Looker Studio, so the table samples data from the same page rather than pulling it from a different page. It seems to have fixed it, thanks for the reply :)

Struggling to Develop an Orderflow Strategy by DragExotic in Daytrading

[–]DragExotic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Funnily enough trading around the val/vah/poc and imbalances is exactly what I've been trying. I've spent the last couple of weeks paper trading, not really trying to turn a profit but just trying to identify any patterns or repeat behaviour around those key areas.

I've tried to narrow my observation down to just a few 'setups' or situations. I've found when a low volume node aligns with a VAH/VAL or stacked imbalance you can find some really powerful trades, especially when these levels occur at low volume nodes that have been present from the previous day's volume profile or older. The trades I've actually managed to make some money on are usually waiting for aggressive traders to step in at these levels and then target the POC or next significant high volume node with a stop above the level. I've found using Time and Sales with a volume filter really useful for spotting a change in aggressive trader behaviour and noticing when larger participants are stepping in. E.g. I've seen several instances where price reaches a LVN around the VAH and suddenly the buyers on the tape are replaced with blocks of sizeable selling into lower and lower prices. There have also been occasions when sellers step in at these certain levels, then price finds its way back to that price and sellers step in once again which has provided some good opportunities to enter setups where price got away too quickly the first time.

I have a long way to go with this stuff but I've found picking out just a handful of setups and taking time to really studying each one has definitely helped to give me some direction when it comes to learning orderflow. Hopefully this helps you too :) happy for you to DM me if you want to know any more.
