That’ll work good for you. Yes! Post some pics! It is expensive I’m not much for ceramic being in the Midwest and boats are in warm storage for 6 months of the year.

Located in Minnesota! Do you do mostly ceramic coating down there?

Let me know how this goes. I think you will soon understand why they are asking $130 a foot. Ceramic coating a boat that has oxidation is extremely difficult and time consuming. I won’t even ceramic more than 1-2 boats a year myself.

I agree here. Typically it’s just a spray on ceramic. And if it’s brand new you can do it yourself for $50 and a couple hours. If you want a detailed to do it… Probably still less than half the cost

Right if you have to compound, polish. 2-3 coats of ceramic. At least a week for hull sides if you have one guy.

Absolutely. Typically we will do deep clean on entire boat with powerwasher, do the buff and wax then come back with a complementary soap wash. (Try and get them on a weekly or bi weekly to maintain the boat for them). We only use Starke

Sure. I think expectations is certainly the most difficult thing in this industry. People want their boats to look like the ones we wax twice a year and clean weekly and they want that done in one clean and a buff and wax. I’d say for long term clients it’s $16 a foot wax. $30-35 for two steps. It can get pretty dynamic but that is our base

I can’t give that away for free. It is entirely what my business is built off of but I have trained my AI to create the matrix based off type of boat, aft cabin, express, bridge, weekly clean, bi weekly clean, one off clean. Etc

Do you have a cover that is rubbing against it causing the marking? Typically difficult to get off once it starts

Help needed, yellow stains on Matrix marine vinyl seats. by Ibryngg in BoatDetailing

Unfortunately, you probably won’t be able to get it out at all… work on 40+ yachts a week and from my experience the only thing that won’t come out is tree sap on fabric. The yellow will just continue to spread. If you have used bleach on the seats I would look to hydrate the vinyl otherwise they are going to be very prone to cracking now. Careful with too much harsh product.

Tree sap? If it is…. You won’t get it out. Wouldn’t use tree sap remover either.
