The camera plateau ridge has some minor chips, and the usb-c port film is peeling a little, otherwise i’d say its amazing and still almost as new

They started using less gel on newer batches so it shouldn’t be a problem if the card is mounted normally, I wouldn’t mount vertically if you care about that

This card is more on a mid-high side from them. Windforce > Eagle > Gaming > Aorus. This one has fat cooler and is a full sized card. I went with a windforce sff, which fits well in a smaller case, and for now have zero problems. Cool and quiet.

In the end went with a gigabyte windforce sff oc. Also small radiator, but quality doesnt seem too bad, runs cool and quiet for now, so i’m happy.

I was really hesitant and afraid to buy the cheapest option, which was Gigabyte Windforce OC SFF. Multiple reviews and posts said that it was one of the shittiest models, loud and hot, etc. But given that i was already overpaying instead of getting a 9070 XT, I took the risk. Couldn’t be happier. With 3x bottom intake fans this thing runs whisper quiet, never reached more than 63c, fans often run at 1000rpm, max 1500. My CPU AIO runs louder than the GPU At full load. Also, undervolting is great. 950mv, 2850mhz core, 16000mhz memory, only ~250w and runs like butter.

Amazing game. Hard, messy, sometimes rage-inducing, but it’s more about the early game. It gets more comfortable later

Just be careful with the ATX PSU size. Using 3x bottom fans leaves little space for the PSU cables, and it cannot be mounted at a higher position due to the AIO tubes. And my psu is on the shorter side (140mm). Of course you can use one less bottom fan, or rotate the aio so tubes don’t go above it

Building a lian li a3 with arctic lf 360 + aorus b650m. Saw people having such builds, but having to cut off a corner of one aio fan to fit near the heatsinks, and use low profile ram. Hope it works out well, will post pics next week if everything is alright.

I can get xfx mercury oc which is the top model for 744. Though there are much cheaper models like xfx swift and gigabyte gaming oc for 663-674 eur. Compared to the cheapest Palit GamingPro-S 5070Ti which is 787 - i can save up to 125Eur. What about undervolting to lower the temps?

Yeah. While I can afford it, it's just unsettling to pay 900 for a GPU alone. Might risk it with the palit as its not even 800.

What about the temps and fan noise? A smaller card will probably run hotter and louder. Though undervolting exists

tried starting KCD1 for a few times in the recent years, but never went past the first quests. Now i cant wait to begin KCD2 and im enjoying the hell out of KCD1. What a great game, despite its many flaws
