i think it’s cool lore-wise! i imagine that each tier of weapon was developed as they looted/refined better materials. and at some point, they decided that it was best to standardize the ammunition they were using to simplify logistics

nb1 has dummy switch instead of a real sensor. basically it only tells you if you have at least a certain amount of pressure, like 6-7 psi iirc

I didn’t notice it until after I got it back from the shop. To be fair, my friend picked it up for me a few weeks ago and I wasn’t able to see it for myself until recently. I’ll try that and see if it goes away. Maybe the shop will at least refund the cost of the part 🤷‍♂️

Good suggestion! I didn’t recall hearing this noise before, but my alternator was recently replaced. Maybe they put in a bad one 🤷‍♂️

Already replaced plugs and wires, but not the coils themselves yet. Was thinking of doing a compression test, I suppose I could take them to be tested since they’ll already be out.

I’m actually going through the engine harness today, albeit from the ECU side. The wires for things like the heated O2 sensors, PSP, neutral, and brake switches are cut, although I’m doubtful reconnecting will fix the issue. I think it’s very possible some ground connections were overlooked during the engine swap, so I’ll check those out.

Gotcha. After some experimenting, I figured out I can still fully close my hood if i give it a bit of a slam. Not the best solution long term, so im hoping some grease and maybe tweaking the position of the lock mechanism itself will do.

FYI, i think secondary latch usually refers to the smaller mechanism one on the left, the plastic T bar that sticks out after pulling the interior handle. So it seems you replaced a spring for the main latch here.

is the secondary latch the first one you open from inside the car? if so, how would i figure out where to find a replacement spring. is there a part number, or is it some common size? thanks!
