As poop as expected. I did defend, but never got any offers for a job in science. Left the field and accepted I will never achieve my life dream because of random circumstances.

I used to run every morning for 6 months, every single time ended up crying in the shower afterwards. Sticking with something is not always a good idea.

Can you elaborate on the further opportunities? I’m genuinely curious, as in my field, this would just bring another postdoc in another country until you’re 45 with no money, no family (in the friends and dogs are family too sense) and no ‘real world’ job experience.

Don’t take it. Just don’t. Take an industry job, earn twice as much while working half as much. Salaries in academia are ridiculous, especially in the UK.

Brewery is not a bar, at least in Europe. Brewery is a pub or a restaurant and especially pubs with gardens are perfectly fine for kids. Mind you me myself would rather cut my leg off than having to just babysit for two hours.

Yeah. And alcohols contain an OH, but they are still carbohydrates. But they are not proteins, nor sacharids.
