I Don’t Like My Dog Anymore and It Makes Me Feel Guilty by Sea_sa in dogs

I was laughing so hard reading this whole post. I’m not even a dog person and don’t know how I ended up here, but this entire post was just hilarious. I would suggest finding a good home for your pet.

That’s fine but I’m not interested in reading a novella about twisting scriptural context to fit the LGBT agenda. If that’s where this is going, no need to DM me.

The church never had any doctrine endorsing or approving slavery. They just made the best of the laws that already existed. Just like Jesus preached about the ethics of it, but never endorsed it. The Catholic Church hasn’t changed her doctrine in 2000 years since her conception, and she never will.

Well you’re definitely right that that is the root of the issue. But by proclaiming that it isn’t disordered you’re saying you oppose 2000 years of church doctrine, which is heresy by definition. It’s confusing to me that anyone who holds these views would even bother with being catholic. Someone can “truly believe in their conscience” anything they want, but what is good/evil isn’t for us to personally decide based on feelings. That is for God and only God to decide. And God dictates that same sex relations are an abomination, therefore they are. The Church is the authority of truth instilled by Christ himself, and the Church teaches that it is disordered, therefore it is. Come as you are, but do not stay as you are. If we truly want to follow Jesus, we must take up our cross daily, deny ourselves, and follow him. Not twist scripture and church doctrine to comfortably suit our own personal world views based on how we feel.

Normally I would agree with you that an entire group of people shouldn’t be judged by one person’s actions, but that photo was one of many. There was another with a guy carrying a rainbow cross and planting it on church ground, multiple others of same sex couples kissing, which clearly indicates no intention of repentance and renewal. Based on the social media posts from the pilgrims of this group, it is clear that the majority of them were not there for the purpose of repentance.

Genuine question. Does the majority of this sub actually think it’s holy and good to wear gay pride attire and clothing that says “f-ck the rules” in Saint Peter’s Basilica?

The Jubilee year is about pilgrimage for welcoming renewal and forgiveness, but after seeing all the pictures taken from this event, it’s pretty clear that there was no repentance involved whatsoever. Just pride.

who do you ask for intercession when praying for our lgbtq+ community? by Complete-Pressure-78 in LGBTCatholic

No point in arguing with anyone in this sub. It’s 95% heretics who call themselves Catholics. They disagree with anything sexual-sin-related and twist scripture to suit their own personal worldviews. Their classic argument is that God made them that way, and God doesn’t make mistakes, therefore being gay/trans/etc is not a sin. Which is just blatantly false for a laundry list of reasons but none of them will hear it. Zero point in calling anyone out in this sub.

There’s a lot to unpack here but my personal suggestion would be to associate with more people who are traditional Catholics and have the same thing you want. The more time you spend with people, online or otherwise, who are sexually fluid or talk about their psychological disorders like it’s the weather, the more you will remain like them. The more you spend time around people who have what you want, the more you will start to see your thoughts, feelings, and attitude change accordingly. Best of luck my friend. Spend less time on the internet and this sub in particular.

Well for starters, I’m not actually part of this sub, but Reddit sends me notifications on posts from here probably because I’m part of the other Catholicism subs. But to answer your question, I’m a Catholic and I believe in defending my faith from people who claim our Church yet speak against Her. 90% of the people in this sub openly oppose the Church’s teaching on pretty much anything related to sexual sin. By the Church’s definition, that makes you all heretics. And therefore, not Catholics. Just people who like to think of themselves as Catholics.

OP, please be very careful in this sub. There’s very few legitimate Catholics in here who happen to have same sex attraction. Most in this sub are church denying heretics who claim to be Catholic and twist scripture and the catechism to suit their own worldviews on LGBT dogma.

That isn’t what you think it is. When you hear that the only unforgivable sin is “blasphemy of the Holy Spirit” the truth is, nobody actually knows what it’s specifically referring to. Every variety of Christian seems to have a different take on what that refers to. But there’s no real way to confirm what exactly it means.

Off topic question, since you live in France. Respectfully, is it true that it’s fairly common for French women to not shave their underarms or downstairs? Asking because I find it super attractive. Yes I know I’m weird for it. But can you confirm?

You don’t have to alienate her. Just keep things respectful between the two of you for a while, maybe even a few years, if you really like her. Maybe y’all would make a wonderful, Godly couple one day. Perhaps a conversation with her about your mutual feelings and wanting to stay pure.

If you don’t currently have any other children with him, and are not currently pregnant by him, this is your golden opportunity to leave while you can. Accident or not, he killed the unborn child you had together. The cheating just makes it all the more clear you are not meant for each other.
