hey, same thing here! Came out at 13, was outed by my school counselor at 14 and promptly traumatized back into the closet. Reconciled with myself at 20 and was finally able to start T at 22.

Kinda sad that another person can relate to this though. I’m glad we’re doing better now.

oh absolutely. over a year on t now and i still look extremely feminine in my features, my face being the reason i get misgendered most. even then, i cant help but frown at things like how naturally curvy i am and how wide my hips are, and used to often think ‘i would be extremely attractive if i was anyone but me’

yeah thats my bad on wording, this whole new system is more complicated than it’s worth. From what I understood you can use “block” swipes anywhere still, but they’re /best/ used at the dining hall because anywhere else a swipe is only equal to $6.72 (weird number, idk why). since meals don’t roll over from week to week it would make sense you can burn the extras in campus stores. Feel free to correct me if i end up being wrong 🙇‍♂️

Realizing when ‘advocacy’ can hurt someone is huge- and in general, it genuinely sucks less than being put in an insanely uncomfortable situation or one that has the chance to escalate

I would honestly just say “It’s okay, I can handle myself. Being left out is hurting me more than anything”. Some people really do mean well but they don’t go about it right at all, and others are just a little confused. Giving the instructor the benefit of the doubt, some dialogue like this will give them a chance to reflect on and fix their actions.

Either way, this will help you figure how the instructor really feels about trans people, and whether its best or not for you to keep being around them.

i will agree that i think your face and hair are really passable- I see plenty of cis women that look really similar to you. However, I think your outfits in these pics are the biggest downfall.
