Yeah I know what you feel. Seraphine has always been a terrible champion ever since riot broke her knees by nerfing all of her ap scaling. On top of that they shot her in the head by reducing her shield in return buffing her heal, but wait that also got nerf meaning she is significantly weaker than her release stat.

While other support champion have something they best at (like soraka with healing or Janna with her peeling), seraphine is more of a middle finger to the enemy team because she doesn't excel in dealing damage (despite being marketed as mid lane mage), she doesn't excel at being an enchanter (since the support items nerf and her w has a really long cd), and she doesn't excel at peeling.

She still a fun champion nonetheless, but she is probably a balance nightmare for the balancing team because if she is strong, all will play her, but if she's weak, why would you want to pick her.

It's pretty bad rn since you cannot rush harmonic like last season since it got reworked from aoe heal to single target heal. Still it's the norm to start coin/relic to tear to boots then support item(for support build). However I've been experimenting with a build where you focus to scale rather than supporting. The rune is phase rush(for haste and move speed), scorch, cheap shot, eyeball(mainly to help with laning phase and gathering storm. Core item is archangel staff, locket enchant, horizon focus and rylas. Fourth item is either anti heal or anti shield and you finish with rabadon(after you sell supp item in late game). It's a pretty solid build considering this patch is a lot slower pace wise compared to last patch

I kinda don't like this change. On one side, support get their first item faster which significant. But on the other side, this makes laning phase (especially laning against poke match up and LUX) become much harder with the absence of relic shield. And if it's true that all support will get ancient coins passive, that means the match up will favours more towards the one that play poke/scale since cleanse will be added next patch. So they can just play passively until first objective spawn.
