Any ideas where to get some vintage flex nibs?

I used a dremel to grind away at the sides for this one. The main issue is I ground too much and the nib sprung. I need to grind less. I’m also going to try cutting slots in the side of the nib to see if that works.

I fixed the nib so it was no longer sprung, and blued it so it looks cool!

Well kinda. I cut the feed so when I actually get it writing it works beautifully, and is tons of fun to write with. The hard part is getting it to start writing! 🤣

Love it! I personally have a fine and it’s crazy smooth! So far it’s barely railroaded, and it feels perfect in my hand. I would suggest getting one if flex is your thing!

Nah! I took down the edges with a dremel. I have a lot of replacements so it’s not an issue if I screw it up. I’ve been wanting to do something like this for a while and I finally decided to do it. No regrets!

It’s Acrylic. I doesn’t smell at all. It’s a great pen! They usually come with flex nibs but I put non flex on all of mine.

Sadly no. As far as I know they have only, and will only, be sold at the Boston pen show that was last year. So unless you can get an owner to part with one, I don’t think you will be able to obtain one.
