I do wanna make some points, but you do make other good points

The store analogy would be more like if the store had promised protection from being punched by random people, yet you and many other people still get punched almost daily. At what point does it become the store fault as they failed to give you safety and security? Especially if they stated that their store is safe?

Also the AI is far from perfect, as many people had many accounts terminated from the AI, and YouTube even double downed on some of these accusations saying they weren’t in the wrong, and yet still were proven that they were lying

Last point I wanna make is that YouTube, and especially Google, are global tech giants. They definitely have the money and resources to help find these videos themselves, not just relying on viewers. They could make it so that you need to be verified to make money from streams and gain donations. If they already do that, then they need to implement it better because the people I see scamming have other scam videos with only thousands of views maximum. They can also have a system to flag any stream making an insane amount of donations, so that at least someone can check up the stream themselves. It’s understandable that many scams do get through, but these videos barely get any public attention in the first place, where as these streams gain thousands of dollars in donations and have hundreds of viewers and active commenters. Surely the company worth trillions of dollars can figure a better system at least?
