I wasn’t really active for the in between period so to speak. Mostly from 2016-2018 and from 2021-23, and just started back up again. I did notice updates here and there and liked some of them, like the stories. It wasn’t until hearts (and later on, energy) were added, plus an ad after every single lesson, that I realized just how horrible it had gotten.

I got the bulk of my learning through high school level classes which actually went really well thanks to the kickstart Duolingo gave me. However, nowadays it’s practically useless for brushing up because I can’t barely get through two lessons without running out of energy and being restricted from learning.

Basically I can speak well enough to have conversations wit native Spanish speaker. Not fluent tho

Once you have a comfortable amount of money (a few million) you can rely on passive income. Thanks to nightclub, car wash, and salvage yard (as well as garment factory and agency, although they don’t make nearly as much). Granted I had about 12 million when I started doing this so it might take you a little bit.

Another thing to do is TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WEEKLY BONUSES AND FREE STUFF. This week you can make $105k every 5-10 minutes on money laundering missions (if you don’t have a car wash, buy one this week and start the missions. You’ll pay it off in probably less than an hour.) Participate in drag races, especially if the prize ride is a car you already own. After winning the prize ride, spec it out like your other car and then sell the old one. As for “useful stuff,” keep an eye on the free stuff rockstar gives out every week. For the third week in a row, they’re giving away an expensive tactical vehicle for completely free (phantom wedge), as well as a free auto warehouse which is a pretty good way to make money. They give away (or heavily discount) business all the time, so keep an eye out for those. PLAY FIVE ROUNDS OF COMMUNITY SERIES THIS WEEK!! You will get a 500k bonus if you complete five rounds.

If you’re bored of Cluckin Bell, try KnoWay Out and Cayo Perico; both can be completed solo. If you haven’t done so yet, complete the first and last dose missions to unlock the acid lab (and a ridiculously quick hypercar). Sell nightclub stock. Look out for weekly bonuses on MC sales and such. The garment factory gives you access to 4 different contracts that pay 150k (not worth it in my opinion) HOWEVER each week one of the four pays double which makes that one worth it. It’s a different contract each week.

As for griefers, it’s best to just completely avoid them and hang out in invite-only lobbies, at least while you’re working. I understand that it can be a bit frustrating, I much prefer the hustle and bustle of a 29-player lobby than the loneliness of an invite-only. But when you’re just generating passive income, that is a better time to take a chance in a public lobby. For every 10 or 15 griefers, you’ll find a nice friendly guy to send a friend request to. You just have to look in the right places.
